Breezy Acre Labradors

Breezy Acre Labradors Family owned and raised AKC Labradors. We have had Labrador Retrievers for as long as I can remember. We have a love for the outdoors and being in nature.

They have always played a very active roll in our family and always made our home more complete. We enjoy hiking, camping, hunting and we have newly discovered a love for shed hunting. It wouldn't be the same without our trusty dogs by our sides. Our goal is to raise pups that better the breed and can live in any lifestyle home. Whether that be a hunting home or just a family that wants a best fri

end for life. We carefully select each pairing to get the best temperament and drive possible. We stand behind our pups/dogs for life and will always take them back- no questions asked. The pups are raised in our home in Gillette, WY. They get lots of attention and socialization around kids, strangers, other dogs and loud noises. We get them familiar with car rides, bathing/nail trims, potty training and crate training. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about us and what we do here. I also can pet sit at your house or mine and can walk and do some training with your dogs as well.

This is why we DO NOT recommend our puppies being altered before two years old. My beliefs are very different for shelter/rescue dogs though.

This recent study shows that the risk of cranial cruciate ligament disease in dogs is linked to how long they are exposed to natural s*x hormones, and the relationship isn’t simple or linear. The highest risk was seen when females were spayed before about 1054 days (just under 3 years) and males before about 805 days (a little over 2 years). These results may help define what counts as “early” spay or neuter when it comes to cranial cruciate ligament disease risk.

Veterinary reproduction specialists now recommend hormone-preserving sterilization: preventing unwanted litters & less risk of torn cruciates.

I am so proud of Boone! Brutus x Zoey pups never cease to amaze me!! They are so well behaved in the home and they are Rockstar in the field. Some dogs just have it, and these guys do! With very minimal training they have made some amazing companions.
