Looking for part-time person with horse care experience to work Friday p.m., Saturday a.m., Saturday p.m., and Sunday a.m. shifts. Feeding, cleaning stalls, turning out, taking care of 6 well-mannered horses. Must be at least 21, have dependable transportation, and live in the Banks County area. The Winder-Barrow High School FFA is so excited to Ride into Summer with our FIRST ever trail ride. If you are interested in joining us at the trail ride please fill out the linked form. This event is bring your own horse, all horses must be valid for all pertinent vaccinations (Coggins). Parking will be in the front lot of the farm.
Where: Barrow County FFA Farm (1770 Hog Mountain Rd. Statham, GA 30666)
When: May 4th beginning at 10 AM
Cost: 50.00 this includes a lunch plate!

18th Annual A. H. Stephens State Park Equestrian Workday

Please join us this year for the Equestrian Workday, Saturday, March 9, 2024, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (RAIN OR SHINE)

We have several projects planned, trail work, campground cleanup, and other tasks. Please bring tools, rakes, loppers, shovels, etc.

Help us show our Park Manager and his staff how much we appreciate a wonderful place to ride and camp.
