Roseland Catahoulas

Roseland Catahoulas NALC registered Catahoula Leopards. Breeding for multi-purpose all around dogs with good looks. Roseland Catahoulas is located in central Iowa.

We have been raising
Catahoula Leopards since 1984. We strive to breed good conformation with the working/hunting instinct that a well bred Catahoula should have and are great all around dogs that will do anything you would like to use them for. Although we are not in hog hunting country and aren't in an area where there are NALC shows we still like to maintain top working/show bloodlines from oth

er breeders in our pedigrees and build on them. Namely Aden, Lee, El Dorado, Diablo's (GrCh of ShCh El Dorado's Hollywood), Facahatchee, Pumpkin Hill and from shipped semen (Overton Catahoulas) we added GrCh of ShCh Crawdad's Dubblewide (2X Crawdad's Bayou Nine). We also added a shot of Rocking M's breeding that is a mix of outstanding individuals from afore mentioned bloodlines. Our program kicked into high gear starting with the great cross of GrCh of ShCh's Blue Sky's Tazz and Roseland's Wicked (Lee's RedDemon x Pumpkin Hill's Black Lace) and we have linebred to that cross to keep our type along with adding other outcrosses.
