Safe Haven is a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of horses. Safe Haven Equine Rescue and Retirement Home Inc.

is a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of horses. Our goal is to rescue abused, neglected, or distressed horses. We work to bring these rescued horses back to optimal health and to find them loving homes. In some cases, due to age or disability, a horse will not be able to be adopted. For these horses Safe Haven Equine Rescue and Retirement Home, Inc. will provide a home where they can peacefully live out the rest of their life with dignity.

UPDATE: The owner has been found. Thank you for all the shares.
We are unable to make any further comments on this situation at this time.

In the very early hours of this morning, we were called out to assist in the capture of 2 estray horses. They were located on Mt Pleasant Road in Pittsburgh Texas.
At this time they are safe and being held at an undisclosed location.
If you are the owner of these two horses, or know the owner, please contact the Camp County Sheriff’s Office @ 903-856-6651, or the Pittsburgh Police Department @ 903-856-7201.

GARDEN GOLD
We still have plenty of good compost left. Some of it is at least 1 year old and is ready to use now. Give us a call @ 903-762-1432 if you would like to get some. We can fill up a trailer, truck bed, or just put some in bags (bring your bags and a shovel).

Happy Happy Adoption Day
We were so Blessed to have all 6 of our bonded group of horses adopted to one home. It makes us so happy to see them be able to stay together. This is a great group of horses that get along well and all have such individual personalities.
Thank you Angela and Russell for blessing this group with a forever home. We know that they will be well cared for, loved and most importantly - spoiled.
