Speaking of Major Precision...this is his 2020 foal out of Jaleesah Aljassimya! We're still observing her personality to find the right name, but we all sure enjoyed watching her and mom enjoy some time out of the mare hotel! It's beautiful here in Cali - 82 degrees, hills still green and a slight breeze coming to cool down the day!

Major Precision was so excited for his spring-time fling with MTR Sophie AHR...strutted down the walkway, did a little dance as he neared and then reared in mighty fashion at the meeting point! The mature part we left out but just know he is such a gentle-horse to his mares!!

The things that are possible when we pass through those imaginary boundaries! This is what EH MonoLissa learned today as she was liberated from the mare pen! She is by Major Precision out of MTR Sophie and a Monogramm granddaughter. LOOK at her dance! About two minutes in is another favorite from our 2018 Foal Crop - EH Lillia (by Major Precision out of MWF Illuminacja).
Echo Afire leading the pack!
Our yearlings were full of spirit this afternoon when the springtime wind kicked up! Echo Afire (by Major Precision out of MWF Illuminacja) seemed to be leading the pack in their antics. She reminds us so much of her Sire in movement, markings and charisma! Also pictured are A Love Affair (grey), Enya (bay) and Majors Testarossa (2016 chestnut filly). When the camera cuts left, you see Aul Vanity (our Crabbet Stud who started Emerald Hills Arabians way back in the day) and Sparkling Jim, also a yearling, who realized he is all-male and had to be seperated from his little band of hooligans about a week ago!

All the babes are finally together in the new foal pen! Easy to tell since they are all different. Echo is black, Enya is Bay and Lovie is rose gray. But today, we want to introduce you to our little chestnut! Meet EH Sparkling Gem ("Jimmy")โฆhe is our June colt out of ANJ Sparkling Silver by Aur Mystic Alexander! So much promise in this spry babe! Plenty of float, tail held high on solid hind end and flashy as can be!
Jake meets the Foal Crop
We had the immense pleasure of finally meeting our long-time friend's grandson, Jake, this past week! Jake was diagnosed with juvenile pilocytic astrocytoma at the age of 16 months. He has endured much in his 14 years but you would never know this by his demeanor! Jake 4-wheeled out on his own to meet the moms/babes, fed them and then proceeded to charm us with his wit during a mid-day picnic! And we were very pleased that the spirit of the Arabian was alive and well during this encounter. Each mare - Rose, Lili, Sierra and each of their foals - Lovie, Echo and Enya were so incredible sweet and gentle with Jake! It brings tears to my eyes as I type this that the incredible nature of this fiery-natured equine can be so soft when the time calls for it!
VERY EXCITED!! Not only were we blessed with LOVELY foals this year, we also finally completed our Mare/Foal Pen!! This weekend we were able to have a grand opening (of the gate) and let the moms and babes in for the first time. The equine stars in this video are: Aur Mystic Sierra with Major Infatuation (both chestnuts), JKF Tempting Rose with EH A Love Affair (gray foal) and MWF Illuminacja with EH Echo Afire (black foal)! All foals were sired by Major Precision and we are SO much looking forward to how they progress!
My goodness, LOOK at EH Echo Afire (by Major Precision out of MWF Iluminacja, "Lily") effortlessly doing what Arabs do best - sincerely pleasing to our eyes! Cannot wait to see what exciting days are ahead for this little filly!!!
