After taking most of July off from shows we will be back at it starting this Saturday!! Will be at the Morgantown Exotic Animal And Reptile Expo on Saturday the 5th and the NE Ohio Reptile Show on August 13th. Come on out and support your local show and all the awesome vendors!!

I absolutely love Badger Blaze Rats!! ( Berkshire/Blaze). This little guy from a recent liter is a pretty good one! He's a Black, Dumbo, Badger and has some good leg, face and tail markings! My goal for now was to get most everything we're working with black based and 5 out of last 5 liters everything looks to be that!!

Only 4 weeks away from our next show!!! 😊
4 years ago (next month) we held our very first show in a hot building at the fairgrounds. We only had around 37 tables and couldn’t believe we had so many!!! Now we’re sticking to over 100 tables and get to enjoy them in the beautiful & climate controlled The Metroplex Expo Center!!!
Mark those calendars, it’s going to be an EPIC show!!! 🐍

The original plan was to take July off since shows have been pretty slow, but.... 🤷‍♂️ things change lol. We are in Moundsville at the Tri-State Exotic Animal/Wonders oddities Expo today until 7, and tomorrow 10-4!!

Now things are starting to get interesting with the fancy rats! Lol. Alot of why I do this is because I just love genetics and how they work and rats carry so many hidden things you can discover a heck of alot quicker then with snakes lol. We are now getting second and third generations since starting to breed them again.
We have babies from our very cool looking black dumbo Silvermane Essex who is also now proven to carry PEW and Blaze. Yeah that's a mouth full lol. We also have our first rex babies who will also carry the marten gene from mom and proved mom and dad are both black based and dad is a beige which is ruby eyed dilute black. He also carrys the hooded gene. We won't even start on proving out the PEW Dumbo possible Silvermane girls 😅 so you can see just how much you can discover from a couple Feeder rats and not to long a time lol. We also have some stuff that should make the best siamese yet, being self black based, and some Russian Blue Point siamese stuff!
