💥Upcoming changes to AVAILABILITY!! 💥

🐾For those who haven’t been in during the last few weeks and heard personally at rebooking, I will NO LONGER be working Tuesdays, and no longer be working most evenings during the week (NEVER working Monday evening additionally). My children’s school/extracurricular schedule will be dependent on me more during those times. As the year progresses, I may have to cut hours further for more school time as my husbands work hours change and he’s able to help with homeschool lessons less.

⭐️FOR ALL CLIENTS WANTING IN MONTHLY: I ask you to pretty please keep 2 appointments ahead booked before the holidays. I was booked overtime constantly last fall/until Christmas and with less hours, I can’t take as many dogs. Prebooking 2 appointments ahead for multi pet homes is the only way to guarantee appointments when you’d prefer scheduled around the holidays!

🐾FOR NEW CLIENTS: I have absolutely no new client availability and will likely not be going through the rest of the short waitlist before January. January/february/March is usually my slow time and the only time I would be able to schedule new clients aside from last minute openings.

2024 Solar Eclipse Pet Safety

Just a friendly reminder - during a solar eclipse, it's a good idea to keep your furry friends indoors. The sun's rays can be harmful to their eyes, and the sudden change in light might spook them. Many pets react to eclipses just like they do to fireworks or thunderstorms.

Hi grooming friends! We will have a mini farmstand at the Salon opening end of April-October!

Hi friends!

We will have a mini farmstand opening April-October. This year we will have perennial flowers and fruit bearing plants, garden starts, eggs, and extra produce. We will be posting what’s available weekly/daily as we add new things. Next week will have a post of what plants will be available in limited availability starting the end of April!

To stay up to date, like or follow this page and update the *following* setting to “all notifications” to get weekly notifications when we add new things! This will be a self serve/camera secured stand with cash/digital pay accepted.

🐾Notice:YEAR ROUND & SEASONAL clients! 🐾

⭐️Prebooking is required in order to keep on the schedule at your preferred interval! Currently only booking out a max of 12 weeks/3months worth of appointments to keep flexibility for my family.

⭐️A portion of my clientele since opening last year were only in town seasonally so I groomed their pups either once that year when they were in town OR some pups on recurring schedules monthly for 6months! Due to this, in order to take seasonal clients back I will need appointments prebooked ahead of time. All seasonal clients will receive a personal text from me notifying any other changes as well.

⭐️Clients with small sized single pups I can squeeze in much easier than clients with 2+ pups. Multi pup families WILL have to prebook in order to get scheduled in a timely manner.

⭐️The salon will be most busy from April-December and unfortunately I cannot guarantee ability to take seasonal clients back if not pre scheduled.

🐕‍🦺Why the discount? What’s different? 🦮
My new bather! My husband has been shadowing me for bathing and is ready to join me at the salon part time!

Starting next Wednesday February 7th, I will be offering booking as either my original one-on-one stand alone appointments, or as “rotational” appointments. The discount will only be applied to the discount deshed Wednesday special as a promo! By offering rotational appointments I can still offer low stress services, but not have to turn away from taking any new clients. This allows me to take 1-2 extra clients per day that would be greatly benefited from a low stress service!

How do rotational appointments differ from one on one?
🐾My traditional one on one appointments feature only one dog or family of dogs in the salon at a time, with appointments spaced enough apart that there’s no need for clients to “meet” another booking in the parking lot and no other dogs in the shop.

🐾My “Rotational” appointments have clients rotate in and out during the day. There will still be no direct interaction between dogs in the shop, and no “meeting” of clients in the driveway either! However, my bather will be bathing a different family’s pup in the closed bathing room while I groom behind the gated area. As I finish a pup and check them out, the bath pup will rotate for grooming and a new customer can check in!
*Pups scared of men or with dog or child aggression are not candidates for rotational appointments. Multi dog households will only be scheduled as the first or last appointment of the day for rotational spots!

⁉️What stays the same for both services⁉️
✅There will still be scheduled appointment times, and pick up will need to be at the specified “finished” time.
✅The shop will still be cage and kennel free for all appointments.
✅There will still never be dogs from different families in the same room or with access to each other.
✅The quality of a groom will NOT falter, dogs will still be bathed properly, fluff dried fully, and haircut appointments will all still be done by me!

Last minute cancellations for today at 3 for one dog and tomorrow at 9 am for up to 2 dogs! OPEN TO NEW CLIENTS!

On snowy and icy days car pickup/drop off is offered. For safety reasons I will collect pup at your vehicle and bring them back out when finished/for payment. This is a service also offers dyear round for any client needing to skip walking up the steps!

If the local schools are cancelled for the day, same day cancellation don’t have a missed appointment fee! Bad roads happen and my road is not as maintained as the main roads. HOWEVER, if you’re not a fan of driving when roads could have a few slick spots or there is snow on the ground then I recommend NOT booking my morning appointment slots. With just a few inches, the weather usually warms up and melts things off safely around lunchtime.

🐾Notice: Some changes coming Jan 1st🐾

An issue with your Christmas ornament gift? Let me know and I can offer a free fix!

An important change will be that my hours have reduced in order to be able to bring my kids with me to work and keep up with our homeschool schedule. There will not be any child/pup interaction as there’s a designated playroom in the back. I have things booked so grooms shouldn’t take any longer and everyone gets the attention they deserve. I previously kept my older 2 with me grooming at my last home based shop. If your pup IS however CHILD AGGRESSIVE and could attack a door to get to my babies, please let me know and I can recommend a better suited groomer for you 🙂

The biggest change will be for pups with the urge to scent mark throughout their visit with me. I only have 6 pups with the need to potty in the shop even after being walked outside first. I do not crate or kennel so I can’t have pups constantly c**king their leg in the shop. Going forward, pups I’ve known to c**k their legs will be wearing disposable belly bands. They will be changed throughout the day when soiled and will be added onto the groom cost at $1.50/band.

$5 increase across the board began October 1st! This increase was across the board, however I have raised price up to $15 higher depending on individual pups based on if the groom needs to take longer for any reason. Reasons a groom might take longer: teenage puppy phase, older pup with health issues, or just a fluffy Pup who takes an extra 30 minutes to dry!!

Appointments requiring me to stay after 5 pm or on weekends will have a $20 service charge per pup going forward. I have WAIVED the 5pm/Saturday fees for a few special clients I’ve groomed since the beginning but will need to implement the increase in the new year in order to continue offering those hours.

🐾 Due to rescheduling and cancellations the last few weeks there will also be a 50% charge for missed appointments without a 48 hr notice 2 weeks before thanksgiving or Christmas. If I can’t fill the spot, my family’s income is being affected. 🐾
