Simple Soil Solutions LLC We help conscious growers and grazers rejuvenate their land and the lives it supports! Vail is a Regenerative Farmer and Mentor. Simple. It’s simply complex! Soil.

We offer Soil Rejuvenation Online Training Programs, On-Farm Transformational Workshops and Four Season Mentorship Programs Simple Soil Solutions – your imagination is the limit!

1. Yet connected as ONE. Care for the basics and operate within the universal laws of nature and the complicated problems that our society faces will be solved or eliminated.

2. Like SOUL…. At the ROOT. Rooted in tradi

tion. Integrating with modern science, designs and management. The care of our soil and restoration of healthy microbial balance transfers to our food, our water, our economy, our animals, and our guts - where the root of all dis-ease is located. This is the path to healing ourselves, our relationships, our communities and our planet.

3. Solutions. SOLVED – not only for you, but also for future generations. We all contribute to the “problem”, but these same intersections
form our roles in the solution. Do you want to improve your quality of life, generate more healthy products, and improve your property? How would you feel and what would you do if you could spend less time maintaining and more time enjoying your land? Simple Soil Solutions helps you achieve your dreams by designing your vision into systems that produce a high quality of life, needed products, surplus and true return on the energy invested in their maintenance. We believe that the care of people, soil, and resources offers humanity a proactive way to improve human and animal health, environmental restoration, and economic regeneration. Vail Dixon and team combine life experiences of soil building, equestrian and cattle grazing specialties, with regenerative farming and healing. We remain committed to a lifetime of learning and sharing better tools and systems, so that each community develops its own resilience while embracing its part of the whole. Insects eating the weeds - strawberries ok!

Some plants are calendrical. Their flowering and fruiting function similar to the night’s sky in marking time. Long before the widespread use of the Gregorian calendar, humans could turn toward the flora that surrounded them to know when the fish were running up river, when to plant seeds, when to move on to higher ground, and when the seasons were on the precipice. We still can too.

The poisonous hemlock has many functions! We’ve used it for shade for our animals, and it’s generalist nectary flowers feed and support so many pollinators!

Here it shows why our fields are lit up at night with thousands of fireflies and smell so divinely sweet!

We CAN gain power by EMPOWERING others!

There was a farmer who grew excellent quality corn. Every year he won the award for the best corn. One year, a newspaper reporter interviewed the farmer, after learning he freely shared his seed corn with his neighbors.

“How can you afford to share your best seed corn with your neighbors when they are entering corn in competition with yours each year?” the reporter asked.

“Why sir,” said the farmer, “Didn’t you know? The wind picks up pollen from the ripening corn and swirls it from field to field. If my neighbors grow inferior corn, cross-pollination will steadily degrade the quality of my corn. If I am to grow good corn, I must help my neighbors grow good corn.”
