We accept dogs and cats of EVERY breed. Meetings are by appointment only. If you have any questions you can feel free to message us at any time and we will get back with you within 24 hours. Mission Statement: To provide a safe haven for neglected, abandoned, abused, or unwanted companion animals. To show them love and patience. To prepare them physically and emotionally to find a great forever home.

Day 14 of our 14 days of Valentines is reserved for our 3 adoptable Valentines. Any one looking for a bff, one of them may be just what you need. Elijah is a young guy (about 3) who loves life!! He loves people, gets along with most other dogs, he's fun, part clown, part pure love!!! Snowball is a bit older (6?) she loves people, loves car rides, loves to be by your side. Handsome Brady is around 3 (?) he has a few specific needs, but for the right family, he'll be a wonderful companion. Want to meet any of them?

Day 13 of our 14 days of Valentines brings us to this handsome guy! Champ is a great looking young man who unfortunately is too unpredictable to place in a home. He has bitten (and threatened to bite) with no warning and no reason. With that in mind, he will spend his life with us at the sanctuary. He is happy! He has love, attention, and the treats he feels he needs. He deserves no less.

We cannot believe sweet Moe has not been adopted yet. What a perfect kitty he is. Moe loves to be cuddled and will reciprocate with kisses and rubs. His adoption fee remains sponsored. We would love to see this little guy in his own home for the new year.

Well, well, look whose time it is to shine!!!✨ we have an excellent approved home for our sky picked out. Tomorrow, she has her bath, blow out and brush. Weds, to get all her vet care up to snuff and she will go home we hope Thursday if they adore hee after the meet and greet! We will definitely post adoption photos of her!

FSFH Rescues abandoned cats

A few months ago Few Steps From Home rescued over 20 cats from being abandoned in a small trailer in Bay City MI. With lots of TLC we are happy to say that they are doing well and are ready for adoption. Our goal at FSFH is to take in unwanted cats and dogs, rehabilitate and give them the medical attention they need until we can find them their new forever homes.
