Just a few reminders:
✂️ I am not taking any new clients. If you currently bring me your dog, and get a new dog, I cannot groom the new one. I can barely manage what I have on the schedule right now. So, no new dogs whatsoever.
✂️ Please clean up after your dog(s). This is something I have to constantly remind people of, and I shouldn't have to. If I see this happen and you do not clean up, I will add a $10 clean up fee to your total. Just be courteous!
✂️ Please do not let your dog mark ANYTHING! Not my ramp, not on my porch, not on my flowers or tomato plants. I work hard to keep my shop looking nice. I don't want dead flowers, and I don't want to wash dog urine off my porch every day. Again, please be courteous.
✂️ FLEAS: They are terrible this year, and I'm seeing them every single week on dogs. Some owners say they have treated their dogs, others have not. That's your decision. Regardless, if I see fleas on your dog, there will be an extra charge of $5 for small dogs and $10 for medium/large dogs for their flea bath. There will also be a $10 clean up fee on top of that for my extra efforts to disinfect.
✂️ PAYMENT: I prefer cash, check, Venmo, or Paypal. Using a card charges me a fee, so I prefer not to receive payment that way. If you are sending Venmo or Paypal, please remember to send 'friends and family' so it doesn't charge me a fee.
✂️ CANCELLATIONS/ NO SHOW: I have lost a lot of money in the past couple of months on people not showing up. So, from now on if you reschedule/cancel less than 48 hours before your appointment time, you will be charged a reschedule fee, which will be half of what your dog's groom cost plus tax. So, if your total is usually $47.70, you will owe me $23.85 to reschedule. If you no show, full price will be required before you get back on my books. I hate to do this because I know everyone has a lot going on and busy minds. But if your dog is not in my shop, I'm not making money.
✂️ PRICE RAISE: I have not raised my prices yet because times are hard right now. I really don't want to do that to my clients. BUT, if things do not change, and the cost of everything doesn't go down a little by the beginning of next year, I will be forced to raise my prices in 2025.
As always, I appreciate everyone's continued support. Y'all keep me busy, and I'm grateful for the business, and all the relationships I create along the way 🫶🏼
