What’s your local egg prices? I’ve seen $8.50, $6.95 and $5.00 a dozen. We are still selling a dozen of eggs for $3.50 only if you have bought them off of Us before, other wise go pay market price for 4 month old eggs. 🤪

First year growing red tropea onions from dixondale farms. They aren’t done yet, just pulled a few to sell and see how big they are.

Garlic of the month. Romanian red. Huge bulb and huge cloves. Brought to British Columbia from Romania. Hot pungent garlic. 4-6 cloves in the bulb. Depending on size, this variety sells for $12-18 a pound

Glassport garlic boy’s garlic of the week, Xian (she-Han) an asiatic turban variety. Supposedly originated from China town San Francisco, brought there by a woman from xi’an China.

Have you Ever wondered what a developing chick looks like inside the egg? This is a picture of a cracked open egg, between 6-9 days of development. The hens sitting on the eggs cracked it and tossed it to the side.

Farmer Owen, the great composter showing off his 500 pounds + of pile of cut grass. Underneath him the pile of aerobic rotting grass is 167 degrees Fahrenheit. In a couple weeks with some additions to the pile we will be left with finished compost like the other piles hes on top of in the pictures.

Farmer Owens majority-of large slicer tomatoes are finally starting to turn red. Two weeks behind the other varieties of smaller tomatoes that we planted in Early June.

From green grass to finished compost in 3 -10weeks. The compost pile rapidly gets up to 150 -160 degrees, breaking down anything in its path turning it to rich compost. We start out with grass and add anything that’ll breakdown, including cardboard, eggshells, meat/dairy, bones, animal carcasses, newspaper, left over food, yard debris and much more.
