I’ve gotten reviews before that have been sent to me directly for me to use on my website, but I got to say it’s nice to get an official 5-Star review on Google.

This makes me so happy and excited that even if it doesn’t feel like it or look like it at the moment… I am, in fact, doing something right, even if it’s something very small.

This dog has had such tremendous improvement and I couldn’t be prouder to say that I had a hand in training him.😍🥰

Good morning all!
We have another foster on our hands.
FREE TO A GOOD HOME!! (Or if someone else wants to help foster him?) We just do not have the funds or the means to get him the vet help he needs/deserves, but we are willing to help nurse him back to health in the meantime.

Back story on how we got him:
One of the maintenance men at our apartment complex rescued him from someone in Montpelier VA. This person said that they were getting ready to move and couldn’t keep him. The maintenance man couldn’t keep him due to his other small dog at home and was nervous about how they would do together, but he definitely didn’t want to leave him in the situation he was in.

As you can tell this dog has not been well taken care of. He’s malnourished, severely dehydrated and has been having issues with diarrhea (I have taken him out almost every hour or two just last night, from 7:30pm til about 2:30am). Other than a bland diet like rice & boiled chicken and pumpkin purée. What else can I do in the meantime to assist him in feeling better? I’m monitoring his water intake so he doesn’t drink a whole lot all at once and I’m going to be giving him several small meals throughout the whole day.

Of what we know/assume is that he is not up to date on any of his shots, he has no microchip, he is not fixed and has been chained up outside for a good little while.

With that being said though he is a total sweetheart. So far he hates being stuck in the crate for too long. He’ll whine/bark when he wants attention, but that’s also when he needs to go potty. He tried hu***ng me and Martin initially, but we handled it pretty quickly. He does great with Dezzy… he’s totally chill and calm, so I’m gonna assume he’ll do well with other dogs too.

Please share this post as much as possible. I hope someone might either want him or might be able to assist in fostering him.

I’m not just a Dog Trainer, but I can be your Occasional Dog Walker as well, within reason of course.

I’m trying something new the next few months by offering 30-45 minute dog walking services within your own neighborhood areas, for just $15 a day.*

In order to use this service I do require you to sign up for my Mandatory 101 Session first, which is only $30. This session will act as a meet and greet, which will then be used to get an idea on what you might be looking for; whether that’s for Dog Training Sessions or just for my Dog Walking Services.

As my schedule fills up I cannot guarantee, however, that I’ll be available during the day(s) and time(s) that you might need assistance with. So book a session with me today as you don’t want to miss out on the opportunity.

*Note: Currently I will only be able to do Dog Walking Services within a 5-10 mile radius of where I live.** This is due to my busy Dog Training schedule and me not knowing where I’ll end up. I pretty much travel all over the Richmond, Henrico, Ashland, Glen Allen, and sometimes the Chesterfield areas. With that being said I am more than willing to try working with you to figure something out in order to assist you in the best way possible.

It happens! What to do if your dog swallows their tennis ball!
Remember every second matters during a choking incident.
1. Place the dog on their back. Brace the back against the floor. Straddle the dog while adjusting yourself based on the size of the dog. Position the head in “in-line position” with the airway parallel to the floor.
2. Make an open diamond shape with your hands. Place your thumbs on either side of the trachea below the ball or object. Grip the “V” of the jaw using lip/cheek to protect fingers.
3. Push with a J-stroke down and out against the ball until it ejects from the mouth.
Both this method and the Heimlich method has been proven to work in these scenarios so don't hesitate to save your dog.
