A local Lowe's Home Improvement surprised us recently with donations that were collected and delivered by their employees! Thank you so much for supporting the animals in our care! ❤

Donations are never expected but always extremely appreciated! It's a wonderful way to provide care for the animals in Henrico when you are not able to adopt or foster, and there are a few items we always have a need for:
▪ Used towels and blankets
▪ Newspaper
▪ Dog kongs (no cloth toys for dogs)
▪ Dog treats
▪ Cat toys (cloth only)
▪ Dry kitten kibble
▪ Dry kitten formula

Donations can be brought to the lobby at 7721 E. Parham Road.

You can also order supplies that can be delivered directly to our shelter from our new wish list: https://amzn.to/3NC2KC4

Here's an update on Chomp Chomp from his new family! It looks like he's enjoying life and getting into mischief with his furry siblings:

"He's doing great! His fur is good and he's gained weight. He loves to roll and slide on his belly in the grass when he's not sleeping inside. He hasn't taken off on any missions with his pal Buddy lately!"
- Chomp Chomp's fur-ever family

We love getting updates on the pets from our shelter, so please feel free to comment or message us with adorable photos of them!

Happy National Adopt-a-Dog Month – meet Frost!

He’s a dream for husky-lovers! Frost is silly and playful, and if he’s really excited, he’ll even sing for you. His eyes are two different but equally beautiful colors; one brown and one blue. Frost is a fluffy boy, so he needs someone who can regularly brush his fur and tell him how handsome he is. If you need someone to keep you laughing, meet Frost!

If you're interested in meeting (or adopting!) Frost, please call our shelter Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at 804-727-8807!

No matter her species, Kaila is a big fan of affection; she loves getting ear scritches, shoulder pats, and belly rubs in between the zoomies. She’s up-to-date on all of her vaccinations and ready to find her new home!
