Exciting news from the ranch! Our very first chicks have hatched under the care of our broody hen, Rosemary! 🌱🐣

We’ve raised day-old chicks before, but this was our first time hatching eggs—and Rosemary nailed it! When she turned broody (and a little mean), we decided to give her the ultimate motherly test. She proved herself to be a brilliant mom—now fiercely protective, as any great hen should be!

A big thank you to MeMeyers Hatchery for providing such high-quality eggs. Watching these little lives begin has been an incredible experience! 🥚💛

"Today, Rose (my Myotonic goat), Tiki, and I had the pleasure of attending the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk of Central Virginia!

🌸 Rose is the daughter of Rue, who joined us at last year's walk, so it was extra special to share this experience with her.

It was such a joy to see the surprise and delight on the faces of walkers who got to meet a goat for the very first time! We were honored to connect with so many incredible people, and humbled by the stories shared. 💖 Moments like these remind us why we walk—to celebrate survivors, honor loved ones, and keep fighting for a cure.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hi to Rose and Tiki today! Your smiles made our day. 🐐💕

I’m excited to announce a new project at Robin Hood Ranch LLC! We’re raising $7,000 to build a new pasture and shelter for a rare breed of sheep—Awassi sheep.

These animals are valued for their wool, milk, and meat, and will be a fantastic addition to our ranch and Virginia’s agriculture.

Exciting news from Robin Hood Ranch LLC!

We’re thrilled to announce that Bessie, our beloved cow, is expecting her first calf!

We originally thought she was due by early to mid-August, but now we have a better understanding and expect her new arrival in early September. I guess I can stop running out every morning like a kid on Christmas 🎄
Well.. At least for a bit.

With the addition of 8 babies born over the weekend, and not sure what was going to be born...
I knew, regardless, I wanted 2 more, does. Meet Lucy & Ethel
Lucy is full mytonic, and Ethel is 1/2 mytonic.

They are in the house for the next 2 weeks for quarantine and to become more comfortable with me and our family.
