New foster ready for adoption! Meet Babs, a perfect house bunny looking for her forever home.

Previous history: unknown, found outside
Species: spayed female rabbit
Age: estimated 1+ year old
Weight - 5.2 Lbs

Behavioral notes:
She was possessive of her space when we initially took her in for foster, but she’s perfect now. I will clean the litter box/crate without any problems now. She’s a real sweetheart once she knows you. She comes right up in our laps on the couch, she follows me as I do chores, she loves to be pet, as long as you gently pick her up and support her properly shes fine to pick up and hold.

Litter box habits:
Great litter habits. We use a Lg plastic bin bottom from Walmart for her litter box. Has no accidents as long as her box is clean. Likes the softer litter like care fresh.

House habits:
Free range of the house during the day w/o any accidents. She marks with rubbing her face on everything but no spraying noted on anything. Crated at night or when we are not home. She has recently been “test chewing” objects to see if its appropriate for her but a little spray of bitter yuck on the object and she will leave it alone. She has not chewed any wires, just a test bite from a foam mat and a test bite of old base board.

Other animal interactions:
So far has done fantastic, met both a quiet relaxed Lg dog and a cat w/o any concerns. Cat will actually sit and groom the rabbit.

FINALLY ADOPTED!!!

Current foster rabbit Chicken Noodle ❤️

She's had a rough start being let go into the woods, lost her bunny friend, had a suprise litter of 8 rabbits and lost them all to a neurological condition passed down from the male. Sweet little cotton ball who likes to sit by you and just hang out. Loves to destroy cardboard. 100% litter box trained, hasn't chewed anything inappropriate since we have had her. We give her free roam while were home with no problems. Gets along great with my 60 lb dog and 12 lb cat. She's a perfect little bunny!

PETSITTING PRICES:

Day care (fenced in yard to play, bathroom breaks per animals specific needs, love and individualized supervision entire visit, freedom to roam around the home or stay in a dedicated room just for them, feeding if needed, medication administration if needed.):

Small animals (hamsters, ferrets, rabbits, exct.) - $5 per day
Cats and Dogs - $20 per day

Over night care (fenced in yard to play in, bathroom breaks per animals specific needs, love and individualized supervision 24/7, freedom to roam around the quiet home or stay in a dedicated room individualized just for them, feeding with your pets regular diet to avoid G.I upset unless otherwise requested, medication administration if needed):

Small animals (hamsters, ferrets, rabbits, exct.) - $10 per day
Cats - $40 per day - additional cats $25 per day
Dogs - $60 per day - additional dogs $30 per day
Farm/home check in - ask for additional details

**Special! Through the end of January, new customers are offered their first grooming service for Free!**

Grooming services are available. I'm a certified pet groomer. I offer everything from simple nail trims to a full bath and haircut. I only do 1 family at a time, everything is sanitized between families, no cages, and they are supervised the entire visit. I use fear-free handling and use Feliway and Adaptil plug-ins to help relax the pet. Treats and toys are used to make the groom as stress-free as possible. I cater to the individual pet's needs. All pets are on a nonslip mat and a pad for additional comfort during the grooming. No high tables are used, I find being closer to the ground makes pets more comfortable.

Nail trim (clip or dremel depending upon pet’s comfort and owner preference):

Ear cleaning (removal of debris, gentle removal of excessive fur in ears, drying):

Baths (Shampoo, conditioner, blow dry, brush out, ear cleaning):

Small animals - up to 25 Lbs - $ 35
Medium animals - 26 Lbs to 60 Lbs - $45
Large animals - 61 Lbs to 90 Lbs - $55
XL animals - 91 Lbs or over - $75
Medicated baths - appropriate price by weight, plus $10

Full Styled Groom (Shampoo, conditioner, color fur if desired, wash, blow dry, brush out, ear cleaning, nail trim, styled hair cut):

Small animals - up to 25 Lbs - $45
Medium animals - 26 Lbs to 60 Lbs - $55
Large animals - 61 Lbs to 100 Lbs - $75
XL animals - 101 Lbs or over - $ 100

Shave downs (all services listed for full groom except styled haircut, pet's hair will be trimmed very short)

Current foster is avaliable for adoption! Her name is Chicken noodle. She is a white little bunny at around 4.5 lbs. She has had a rough start with being found with another rabbit who unfortunately was sick and had to be euthanized. She lost a litter after. Despite everything she's a sweetheart. She loves to come up for love and her vegetables. She is 100% litter box trained. She is slowly learning how to interact other animals and it is going well. “Repeat after me. Muzzled dogs are NOT BAD DOGS.

Muzzled dogs have good humans.

Muzzled dogs can have more experiences because they are managed. Their quality of life is INCREASED because of the muzzle.

Muzzled dogs can still have treats.

Muzzled dogs are not miserable.

Muzzled dogs are muzzled for ALL KINDS OF REASONS. Not just aggression. Maybe they eat too much stuff off the ground and get sick. Maybe they play too rough. Maybe they over react when startled. Maybe they want to eat squirrels. Maybe they need to learn better social skills. Not all dogs in a muzzle have a bite history, some have them on to prevent that in the first place. Sometimes the muzzle is more for the HUMAN than the DOG because it allows them to feel more confident. Big dogs, small dogs, and all breeds and sizes need muzzles sometimes. It is not a breed specific tool.

Muzzled dogs are GOOD DOGS WITH GREAT HUMANS who are setting their dog up to not fail. Judging a dog in a muzzle and their owner is the same as judging someone for wearing a helmet. They are choosing safety and being proactive and it takes WORK to get your dog to a level that they are happily working and walking around in a muzzle so kudos to the humans and dogs I work with who put that time in to better their dogs lives.

If you see a dog in a muzzle, don’t stare, don’t ask rude questions, just say “nice job, great looking dog!” And carry on. Believe me, you will have just made that humans day.”
