Keep your fur babies safe this holiday season!🎄 Did you know that some of our favorite festive foods can be dangerous for our furry friends?
- Chocolate - While chocolate is a delicious indulgence for us humans, it contains theobromine, which is toxic to dogs. Keep those sweet treats out of their reach!
- Onions & Garlic - These popular flavor enhancers can cause anemia in pets. Keep an eye on seasonings and avoid sharing your holiday dishes with them.
-Grapes & Raisins - These fruits may be a staple in holiday desserts, but they can cause kidney failure in our four-legged friends. Make sure to keep them away from curious noses!
-Alcohol - We all enjoy a festive drink or two, but alcohol is a big no-no for our pets. It can lead to dangerous intoxication and potential liver damage. So, keep your celebrations pet-friendly!

Today is National Adoption Day!
Adopting from a shelter can help save an animal's life. Many shelters are unfortunately overcrowded. The people who work at them do their best to try to find homes for every animal they encounter but often are forced to put down the oldest and sickest animals that aren’t getting adopted in order to free up space for healthier animals that have a better chance of finding a home. By adopting from a shelter, you’re not only saving your own pet’s life but also freeing up space that another animal can continue to live in.
