As you all may remember, Iris came to us this year with her sister, Korr. Both Korr and Iris marched in the Saint Patrick's Day parade and were a definite hit with the crowd! Korr was happily adopted in May and Iris has been waiting patiently for her chance to be adopted into a wonderful home. Iris loves going on walks and hanging out in the outdoor run with Phantom. A few of our dogs have tips on how to beat the heat! Titus suggests having a mug of beer, Zack thinks cooling down in the pool is best, and Pinkie believes that begging for treats under the shade of a tree is a superb way to keep cool (and keep your belly full!)🤣 All three of these dogs are available along with many other wonderful pups at our shelter!

A big Thank you to our Glen Cove Rotery Club pickleball challenge fundraiser that was held on our behalf !! They raised $3500.00 for the animals of Cove !! Our furry friends thank you from the bottom of their 💕.

Pictures of Zack enjoying walking with a volunteer and enjoying the pool on a hot summer day! Zack is a lovable mush and a gentle giant and who loves playing fetch and going for walks! Zack needs to be the only dog, but he will be the only dog you need!

Zack was adopted two years ago, but found himself back at the shelter when his owner passed away. We would love to see this sweet boy in a home of his own once again. We are so grateful for all the volunteers that walk, play, and hang out with Zack; he definitely has many admirers! Please share this post so Zack can find a home of his very own once again!
