Golden Doodle Kennel Golden Sunset Doodles is a premiere kennel specializing in breeding Goldendoodle puppies. Our dogs are our family and are treated as such.

We are a new breeding business but are meticulous in providing you a new member to your family. All of our dogs will be genetically tested and checked for any breed specific diseases to ensure that you are bringing home a healthy puppy that will give you and your family years of companionship. We are a small breeder and have a strong focus on animal health and their well being. Your puppy will be

socialized and stimulated from day one. We breed our dogs no more than 3 times before they are spayed/neutered. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us. Our in home kennel consists of 4 dogs. Adah (red) and Lottie (white) are our two female poodles. They live in the house with us along with our matriarch golden doodle, Hera, and our patriarch boston terrier, Zeus. Our sire golden retriever, Stanley, lives with our great family friends on their farm. We chose to give Stanley to our friends for two reasons; 1. We can control when breeding occurs and 2. Four dogs was enough! :)

Our kennel has a dedicated dog room in our house, with a doggy door to our fenced in back yard that is about a 1/2 acre. That half acre is actually split into two fenced in areas so we can keep the "pack" separated if need be.

We found out a week ago Adah was carrying just one puppy. Earlier this morning she delivered the most perfect baby boy! 🫶🏼

Stanley is on a farm located 5 minutes away with my favorite family. . He’s produced two healthy, strong litters in 2023. He’s AKC registered and Embark cleared. 🚜🌾🐄

Standard Poodles are excellent companions for anyone looking for an intelligent and elegant dog. This breed has hypoallergenic fur which makes it an excellent selection if you or someone in your home has sensitivities or allergies

Poodles are among the smartest dog breeds. Their intelligence and eagerness to please make them great service dogs. Poodles are also employed as guide dogs, assistance dogs for people with other physical disabilities, and therapy dogs. They’ve even been utilized as truffle hunters due to their keen noses.

Standard Poodles are usually quite friendly and personable after some time to warm up to you. A well-trained Standard Poodle might seem standoffish at first contact. Once they get to know you, they should display all the love and affection you could ever want.

Poodles are typically welcoming, but they can be wary of any strangers who show up on their turf. After a pleasant introduction and a little time to get acquainted, your Standard Poodle shouldn’t be overly-protective. Standard Poodles are typically not very aggressive or “scary”, but they are proud protectors of their family (to a point).

While poodles are known for their luxurious coats, their hair can become a problem if not properly maintained. Poodle hair can grow up to one inch per month, and if left untrimmed, it can become matted and tangled. Regular grooming is essential to keep their coats healthy and free of knots. If considering adopting one, it’s important to understand how long their hair can grow and how to properly care for their coats.

Momma’s babies. ♥️🐾♥️

Lately, Lottie (our white poodle) has been really down, if your a dog person you just know. She has been around pups a few times but I wanted to give Adah her space with her babies. Today I let her come in and hang out with her nieces and nephews…she stayed for hours and loved every minute of her snuggles. Hera still believes they are chipmunks and wants to hold all of them tightly in her mouth. They make me smile everyday. ♥️
