Good Morning Facebookers, can you believe it?
It’s already February 2025! And spring is just around the corner and we will be breaking ground soon for our new building addition (more for cremation customers than for us - more privacy and no waiting outside until the other pet cremation customer leaves).
Side note – we could get a loan to get the building up faster, but then the loan would be transferred/passed down to the customer, we do NOT want to raise prices, so please DONATE towards our building fund and cremation prices and memorial prices can stay as is. (Every penny, every dollar adds up more than you can imagine)!
And for me, well I wouldn’t have to move my decorating stuff or the pet I’m prepping for a pawprint to the back room anymore, cause new customer is coming (that is why we have appt and no walk ins, new customer might walk in with a pet on table where I’m cleaning a paw up (cut nail and the hair, for that absolutely perfect pawprint, I paint the ink on the paw too) for a pawprint and snipping hair/fur for the customer.
Sorry I have not posted much over the last couple of months with updated pics of custom ash containers that I have made for the beloved pets we have cremated. Just not enough time in the day, even when I get up around 1-2am-8am for computer work (I work on my books I’m writing and pet cremation data entry and I’m in a couple AI (OH, How I love AI) classes so I do my studies in the early mornings. I am also helping a few individuals start up a business (for a fee of course)
Oh Ya…an update on cremation customer form, in order to save time, I have created an online form for customers to fill out when they arrive with deceased pet or I can send a link for customer to fill out before they get here, it is also on our website if customer wants to go directly to website to fill it out online. It is still in the testing phase, so bear with me as we update stuff. The form has already been a life saver, I can read the info on it for sympathy cards I send out to all our customers. In the sympathy cards I have a return envelope with a tiny flyer where customers can either type in address or scan the QR code to do a review of our service they received from us and a link to the 2 children’s books I have written and are on Amazon to purchase (BTW, all proceeds go to our building fund)
When I go to Pet Cremation office around/between 8am/9am, to about 5/6pm, I am 110% all cremation business (no computer stuff though, too distracting and I wouldn't get boxes done). Time flies when you are having fun (decorating boxes and talking to your pets).
Bob will hear me talking and carrying on and he will holler down the stairs and ask me who are you talking to? I tell him (pet name) and Bob says - figures! You talk to them more than you talk to me (Bob) hahaha (not really) but it sounds good!
I'm finally getting caught up from the holidays, (holidays are exceptionally busy months as pets decide that is the best time to cross over that famous rainbow bridge - don't ask me why, it just happens and it makes it extra sad for all involved - even for Bob and I! Ok I suppose this is long enough, well you know me, write a book, haha! Tracie over and out, have a superb Friday and weekend! I'll post ash containers soon.
