Thanks to our amazing community, we receive many book donations that help raise money for the library! If you bring some in, please put the books in boxes that you are ok leaving behind. This helps us keep them in good shape for the next book sale!

Yes it is warm outside, but our dogs still need soft, comfy bedding to sleep and rest on! While we do reuse and wash everything that we possibly can, we're creeping into the busiest time of the year, which means we go through bedding MUCH faster.

Sheets, comforters, blankets, pillow cases, you name it, we'll use it! The only items we don't accept when it comes to bedding are pillows (can't properly sanitize in our washers) and electric blankets. Our feline friends are also low on cat toys!

If you've got any you'd like to donate to us, please feel free to bring them to 693 Mt. Hope Ave, Bangor. Bring them inside during business hours (1-6pm Mon-Fri and 12-6pm Saturday) or leave them on our covered porch and our staff will bring them inside as soon as we are able.

Isn't Poppy adorable?

Their breed is a rescue mystery mix. Their mom is 38 pounds with terrier-like hair and traits. Zero idea about the breeds of the father(s) since she was a stray.

Those who meet the following should complete an adoption application:
🌼 Excited to embrace terrier-like characteristics such as digging holes and critter chasing (Daisy’s favorite outside activities)
🌼 Active. Long trail walks in your future?!
🌼 Experience with or knowledgeable about socialization periods and how to set these puppies up for success
🌼 Excited about all things puppy training such as house training, leash walking, etc
🌼 Stellar vet reference
🌼 Prepared for grooming expenses
🌼 Ready for sweet puppy snuggles!
