Now offering Obedience Classes. The 6 week class is one on one with the trainer for 1 hour per week. Call for an evaluation then you can sign up for classes. Evaluation fee is $25. Two new classes will be offered here at Bethel Kennels. If you are wanting to do more with your dog and improve your connection in a fun and positive way, consider joining one or both of these classes. Basic Agility will begin Tuesday, April 23 at 12:00 noon with Melinda Crowden. Trick Dog Class with Renee Bellew will begin Tuesday, May 14 time TBA. You can receive an AKC Certification with this class. We will also have a Protection Dog Class with Darrell Busby. This class will begin Wednesday, May 1st at 7:00pm. Come join us for our Spring Tail Waggin' Tailgate on Saturday, May 11 from 10-2. We will have food, fellowship, agility, trick dog and protection demonstrations. This spring we plan to have Basic Agility, Trick Dog, Protection and possibly a Tracking class. Stay tuned for more information and dates. WISHING YOU A JOYOUS CHRISTMAS SEASON*

Please be mindful that some of our holiday traditions can be harmful to our canine friends.
* Mistletoe and poinsettias are poisonous to people and pets
* Small ornaments, bells etc. look like fun to play with but can be choking hazards
* The chocolate candy we love is toxic to our dogs
* When the weather is freezing bring your pets inside and make sure outside water sources are not frozen

TAIL WAGGIN' TAIL GATE TIME CHANGE! Due to decreased daylight hours we will have our Tail Gate from 2-5 pm this Saturday, October 28 rather than the previously scheduled time. Two new classes at Bethel Kennels are being offered!!

Trick Dog class with Renee Bellew begins Thursday, August 31at 5:00 p.m. You will learn fun tricks to do for your family, friends or to entertain for other purposes.

Basic Agility Class with Melinda Crowden begins Tuesday, September 19 at 12:00. Build trust with your dog as he learns to take direction from you in new situations. Many dogs have a lot of fun with these activities.

Dogs must have previously been in the Group Socialization Class prior to registering.

If you are looking for more to do with your dog whether for fun or a special purpose, these classes are for you. It will strengthen the bond between you and your dog as well be a lot of fun for you both.

Looking forward to our annual spring "TAIL WAGGIN TAILGATE " event on 6/17/23 @ BETHEL KENNELS, 1803 Hwy 431 Glencoe, Ala 35905. This event is used to allow dog owners the opportunity to attend a social gathering with family and pets to enjoy fun, food, music, demonstrations and info from our local vets, Humane Society and several SRO OFFICERS from the school system.
