Meet Lollipop! She is as sweet as her name. Lollipop is 1 year old female American Staffordshire Terrier mix. A DNA test was done and can be provided to interested parties. Lollipop started life on the reservation and was picked up by Pinal County Animal Control where she was adopted by a wonderful family. She came to me originally for training. She spent three weeks learning how to be the best Lollipop she could be, she excelled at her training. Her dad had dreams of doing therapy work with Lollipop and we were working towards that goal when he fell ill. Unfortunately he passed away and Lollipop's mom is disabled and unable to care for her alone. We decided that Lollipop was too special to go back to the shelter so we took her in as a foster dog. Lollipop is looking for a home where she can be the extraordinary girl she is meant to be. She would make a great service dog prospect, a therapy dog, or an ESA. These are not requirements for adoption though. She needs someone who can keep up with her energy and take her on adventures. She would love to go hiking or camping with her people. She gets along great with other dogs of all sizes. She does great with kids but can be a little rambunctious. We have not tested her with cats but will be once she gets settled back into routine here. We will continue her training as much as possible during her stay with us. Lollipop knows sit, down, heel, free, front (come), and place. She is kennel trained. Lollipop is making great strides in her potty training but needs to be watched. We will include two private lessons for her new family to ensure continued success. Lollipop is Up To date on shots and is spayed. Located in Glendale. Join me in welcoming Lollypop to our board and train program. She is as sweet as her name says. Today she met a few of the resident dogs who are going to help her learn a few skills. She is already working on potty training and not jumping on people or tables. Lol Stay tuned for all the updates.

Yes we make our own dog treats. With the amount of treats we go through here and the quality of treats we look for this is the best way to do it. Plus, resident dog Flynn can eat these too.

Did a private lesson with handsome boy, Dutch, today at the farmers market. He and his Mom did fantastic navigating all the distractions. They both have worked very hard to get to this point.

We just wrapped up our AKC STAR puppy and beyond winter class. We couldn't be more proud of these puppies and their people. We look forward to seeing them grow and continue down this path of success. A big shout-out to Danielle Kemper with for co-hosting the class.

Maddie came to stay with us while her family is out of town. We love just sitting on the swing and enjoying each other's company. She is such a special girl.

After taking a little break to move houses we are back in full swing. Today we went to the Matsuri Festival in Phoenix. It was a great place to work the puppies in crowds of people and some dogs. They got to see lots of costumes and hear drumming. It was a great experience all around.

As Riley wraps up her board and train with us we want to make sure she is fully ready for the real world. This means going on field trips to pet friendly places like the farmers market. It was a little challenging for her at first but she quickly remembered her manners and did an amazing job. We are so proud of this girl and all that she has learned in the last three weeks. We are excited to show her Mom and Dad when she goes home tomorrow.

Marcus and Peace hiked up to the hole in the rock. They practiced sit and down on an uneven surface. They both did great. You can see Peace is a little unsure about laying down but gets more comfortable as we work through it. Marcus was a rockstar.

Peace and I got to work at Bacon's birthday party. It was our first time ever going to a corgi party and it was everything we expected it to be. Fun, fun, and more fun! Happy birthday Bacon! Thank you so much for allowing us to help make this a great day for everyone attending. Peace did great watching from the sidelines while I refereed.

We took Peace to Ryan's Pet Supplies to get a few items. While we waited for them to pull our order we took the time to do a little training.

Took Peace to Food Truck Friday. Lots of food on the ground and he ignored it all. Loud sounds, lots of kids, live music, and so much more to challenge him. He did fantastic as always.

We had an unexpected distraction when a neighbor walked by with their dogs. We gave space to allow Riley to be as successful as possible. She did well all things considered. We will continue working on her obedience skills and when she is ready we will start working more distractions like this. She is doing a great job so far.

Riley is learning how to be the best good girl. She came to us chasing golf carts, barking at other dogs, and pulling on the leash. We are so proud of how far she has come in such a short time.

We got to do some service dog training with one of our favorite teams before Christmas. It was so much fun to see all these talented people put on a great production. Riggs and Octane did amazing with all the loud sounds and lights.
