I am sure by now that most of our clients have heard of this respiratory illness going around in dogs. As you may know, our salon is an open concept salon and it is going to be difficult to keeps dogs from going nose to nose. We are taking extra steps in making sure that we are disinfecting in between each pet, but we can only do so much in avoiding the spread.
If you have any concerns about bringing your dog to grooming please don't hesitate to cancel your appointment; it's better to be safe than sorry. I promise we understand. Additionally, if your dog is showing any signs of not feeling well please call and cancel your appointment and contact your vet.
If your dog has been boarded for the holidays, please wait 2wks before bringing them in for grooming. We appreciate all of our customers and want everyone to have a safe and stress free holidays.
The Oregon Department of Agriculture has received more than 200 case reports from veterinarians of a mysterious canine infectious respiratory disease since the middle of August.
