PACC911 organizes adoption events and provides modest medical grants to rescue organizations like us.

Here we go again friends!

Carly, 7 yrs old, came to Brittany Rescue AZ from a small rural shelter in Southern Utah. She was relinquished by a breeder after having multiple litters of puppies.

Carly came to us unaltered and with numerous mammary tumors. The tumors were removed at the same time as her spay surgery. Thank goodness all tumors tested benign. Her recovery had some difficulties but overall went well.

Just when we thought this girl was on the road to a better life, we noticed something wrong with her left eye. A visit to the eye specialist confirmed that Carly has glaucoma in the left eye. Removal was recommended to relieve her pain.

Carly also has a heart murmur and may require a cardiologist visit in the future.

Carly's medical expenses, to date, are $1975 and we still estimate another $1000 for the eye removal surgery.

Today is a special day.

Our sweet boy Tyson is headed to his new home. He came to us on December 5th with one broken leg and one very scraped up one after being hit by a car.

Tyson was a good patient and everyone that met him loved his sweet disposition.

We are going to miss this sweet and silly boy. But we know that his new family will love him to the moon and back.

As the vet expected, Lacey had one very large puppy Saturday night. She was born weighing 13 ounces and is already at 16 ounces this morning.

Mom and puppy are doing well.

Lacey was one of 11 dogs abandoned in a home in NE Arizona. We have photos of the suspected fathers and will be comparing mug shots as time goes on!

Introducing our newest intake Miss Lacey. Lacey was one of 11 dogs abandoned in a house in NE Arizona.

It’s true what the shelter told us….she is pregnant. But X-rays show only one very large puppy!
Not a surprise after seeing pics of the potential puppy daddies.

Our vet believes she could give birth in 48-72 hours!! We will keep you posted.

Lady is a spunky 10 yr old who doesn’t consider herself a senior.
She can keep up with the young pups any day of the week.

Lady is a bit shy but learns to trust. She would do best in a household with another dog.

Lady is crate trained and housebroken, spay, fully vaccinated and tested negative for heart worm and tick borne diseases.

Kate is an active 5 yr old female that came to us from Southern Arizona when her owner could no longer care for her. She is house broken, crate trained and loves other dogs. Some men scare her but not all.

Kate needs leash training and would do best in a home with another dog.

Hi Tyson here! First I want to say “How do I look in pink??”
Foster Mom dressed me in pink today for my vet appointment and then they used pink camo on my bandage! I think I look darn dashing!

One more week and theyz gonna take another picture of my leg! I can’t wait to run and play again like a Brittany really should!! Pray that I’m all healed.
