Dawson County Veterinary clinic is mixed animal practice, providing services to cattle, horses, dogs, and cats. Small animal services include vaccinations, general medicine, surgery, reproduction, and dentistry. In order to provide quality care to our patients, the practice is well equipped with an in-house lab, ultrasound, digital radiography, EKG, and anesthetic monitoring equipment. We also pro

vide equine services such as artificial insemination, stallion collection, dentistry, medicine, and lameness evaluation. For our cattle producers, we offer herd health work, bull fertility testing, herd health consultations, pregnancy testing, ultrasound, and obstetrics. In addition, we have a portable Silencer hydraulic cattle chute that reduces stress on cattle and improves the efficiency of herd work. The clinic is currently staffed by three veterinarians Dr. Kyle Voss, Dr. Cara Voss, and Dr. Jeff Schucker. Although Dr. Kyle sees both large and small animals, his primary interest is beef cattle medicine. In addition to his veterinary degree, he became more specialized with a Master's degree in Beef Production Medicine. Prior to working in private practice, he worked as a technical services veterinarian developing a new system to identify cattle. Dr. Cara Voss has over 16 years in general mixed animal practice. Prior to moving to eastern Montana, she practiced in Kansas, South Dakota, and Texas. She enjoys seeing small animal and equine patients. Dr. Cara is an avid horse lover and has a strong interest in equine medicine. One of her favorite aspects of practice is equine reproduction. Dr. Jeff Schucker has practiced veterinary medicine for over twenty years in Minnesota. He joined the practice in August of 2023, after moving to Montana. His primary interests include small animal medicine, dentistry, and surgery.

Join Dawson County Veterinary Clinic in welcoming Dr. Jeff Schucker to our team! Dr. Schucker's primary interests are small animal medicine, surgery, and dentistry. A Pennsylvania native, he completed his undergraduate degree at Penn State. He continued his education at University of Minnesota where he obtained his doctorate of veterinary medicine. After practicing in Minnesota for over twenty years, Dr. Schucker moved to Montana.
He, his wife, and youngest daughter have an assortment of animals, including horses, dogs, cats, pigs, chickens, and a cow.

After 15 years of employment at Dawson County Veterinary Clinic and a total of 42 years of service to the veterinary profession, Donna Slupczynski is retiring. At nineteen, Donna started working at Highland Animal Hospital in Highland, IN. Later, she moved on to work at a mixed animal practice in Medical Lake, WA and Calumet Emergency Veterinary Clinic in Hammond, IN. In 1986, she joined Cooley Animal Clinic in Highland, IN for 21 years. In 2007, Donna relocated to Montana and joined our team at Dawson County Veterinary Clinic. Her years of experience and diverse clinical background enhanced the service and care at our clinic. Donna has a passion for the veterinary profession. She enjoys helping people and their animals. Donna's last day is on December 23rd so stop in the clinic and wish her well! She will be missed!

The reception work includes answering the phone, scheduling appointments, creating invoices, and taking payments. The assistant position position includes restraining dogs and cats, taking a patient history, obtaining vital signs, and preparing appointments. Computer skills, oral and written communication skills and attention detail are important. Experience in the veterinary profession or with animals is helpful but not required. Prior to working in private practice, he worked as a technical services veterinarian developing a new system to identify cattle. Dr. Cara Voss has over 16 years in general mixed animal practice. Prior to moving to eastern Montana, she practiced in Kansas, South Dakota, and Texas. She enjoys seeing small animal and equine patients. Dr. Cara is an avid horse lover and has a strong interest in equine medicine. One of her favorite aspects of practice is equine reproduction. Dr. Jen Majueras joined the practice in June of 2014. She is a recent graduate of Washingston State University. She grew up on a Montana cattle ranch and has an interest in both large and small animals.
