PLEASE HELP !!!

A member of our Healthy Pet Center family, along with his wife and 1 year old child, experienced a tragic house fire on January 21st. They lost their home, their 2 dogs, and all their belongings.

We would really appreciate your help showing this young family all the love and support they deserve.
Please consider taking part in the raffle. 100% of the proceeds will go toward helping them with their immediate needs.

Monetary donations and gift cards for the family are also being accepted at all Healthy Pet Center locations.

Each of the HPC stores made up a raffle basket to raffle off. You can purchase the tickets at the store of the basket or you can purchase tickets online by going to freetobemerescue.org and click on the raffle basket tab. Tickets are 1 for $10, 3 for $25 or 6 for $40. Drawings will be Monday February 3rd at 4pm.

What a fulfilling day! Today we delivered all of the wonderful, thoughtful, generous gifts that so many of the Shawna’s Dogs Pet Parents donated this Holiday Season! Through Catholic Charities, we adopted 5 people, along with their pets, and happily made sure they were going to have a truly magical Holiday! Thank you to all who made this possible! Thank you to Catholic Charities for helping so many people in our community, as well as for allowing us to be a little part of that! Happy Holidays!

What a fun time last night at the Town of Bethlehem, NY Holiday Parade! Thank you to Hatchet and Pirate for braving the cold to walk the route! Can’t wait to do it again next year! Hopefully it’s a little warmer!
Ps: thank you so much to all of you who reached out wishing us a fun night! We definitely understand the weather was not ideal for all the dogs walking!

🐾 Puppy Pre-K (Ages 10–20 weeks)

There’s no such thing as an ‘alpha’ in dog training. It’s a made up, opinion term, by tv ‘trainers’ to justify aversive ‘techniques’.

What’s the difference between a dire wolf and an alpha wolf? Dire wolves actually did exist.

Dire wolves seem like fantasy, and star alongside dragons in Game of Thrones, but they were real and actually did wander on our planet.

Alpha wolves are just made up fantasy and don’t exist. It’s an old, outdated term used to describe the mating male in a wolf family. Otherwise known as “dad”. However, you’ll not only hear it as a term used to describe modern day wolves, but it comes up in dog behaviour as well. Don’t let a backyard trainer spin myth to justify using corrections on you dog!

Good morning Everyone!
It's that time of year again! Shawna's Dogs, for the past 7+ years, has adopted families or individuals with animals through Catholic Charities to help provide some Holiday Magic to them for the holidays! Many of the people that need a little help are people struggling with medical conditions or food insecurity issues so being adopted makes such a huge difference in their lives! Each year, the Shawna's Dogs Family STEPS UP and always has Michelle, the coordinator, beyond amazed! I'm sending the link to the 'Sign up Genius' that I created with all the items that each individual NEEDS as well as WANTS. This is not a family. This year, Michelle didn't have one family with animals but had 5 individuals with dogs/cats/birds so she asked if we could take them all and I said, "Yes!".
