This post is written with a very heavy heart- rest in peace “Subtil” 💔
Subtil was such a special horse whose heart was bigger than his lumps. I was always proud to whistle for this horse’s rounds over and over again at the in gate, I felt fortunate I even got to show him a few times. It was an honor to unload him off the trailer when we would return from a show usually after a big win and I loved to see him buck in the field or role in the mud on Tuesdays. We knew what days he wanted to win and what days he would make his rider work for it, BUT he never wanted to lose. His resume was longer than most, derby wins, horse of the year titles and this list goes on.
“Subtil”, you left us too soon but thank you for letting us be part of your career. You truly are a horse of a lifetime.

We spent last week in Gettysburg PA at the Partridge Run Fall Classic. We are very proud of all of our horses and riders for an outstanding horse show.

🍁 “Gap Year” was Reserve Champion in the 3’/3’3” Green Hunters with Emily Corkhill for owner Katie Lile.

🍁 “Revali” was Champion in the USHJA Hunters 3’ with Emily Corkhill for owner Nancy Leddy and Reserve Champion in the Adult Amateur Hunters 18-35yr and winner of the combined Adult/Children’s Hunter Classic with Rachel Leddy.

🍁 “Cassiopeia Cellestin” was Reserve Champion in the 3’3” Performance Hunters with Emily Corkhill and won the combined Junior/Amateur Hunter Classic with owner Emerson Nolte.

🍁 “Cooper” was Reserve Champion with Emily Corkhill in the USHJA 3’ Hunters for Decker Equigroup LLC.

🍁 “Castello SM” was Reserve Champion with owner Deirdre Agnew in the Adult Hunter 36 yrs and over.

🍁”Drop It Like It’s Hot” was Champion in the Modified Hunters with Rylen Swartley.

🍁 “Sahara” was Champion in the combined Large Pony/Small Pony Division and won the Pony Hunter Classic with Rylen Swartley.

🍁 “Touché” was second in the combined Junior/Amateur Classic with Athanasia Dimopoulos.

🍁 Kinsley Nolte won the USHJA Hunt Seat Medal at 3’3” and the NHS 3’3” Hamel Medal on “Torento”

🍁 Stella Cross won the THIS Medal and was second in both the Hunt Seat Medal and the NHS Medal in her first time competing in the equitation with her new partner “Alalux”.

This week we are home but will continue to work hard and learn as we are hosting a clinic with Sandy Ferrell. Then it will be Thanksgiving and we have so much to be thankful for!

Last weekend we divided and conquered, Troy was judging on the West Coast, Emily was home teaching and riding and Morgan took a group to Swan Lake Harvest Classic. Congratulations to everyone who showed and thank you to our hard working team!

🦢 “Casanova” was Champion in the USHJA 3’ Hunters with Morgan Munz for owner Ashley Caplan who was Reserve Champion in the Adult Amateur Hunters

🦢 “Limited Edition” was Champion in the Low Children’s Pony’s with Sydney Caplan

🦢 “RLE Sir Shutterbug” was Champion in the 2’6” USHJA Hunters with Morgan Munz for owner Shiree Radie, who had very good rounds in the Low Adult Hunters

🦢 “Sahara” was Reserve Champion in the Pony Hunter combined division with Rylen Swartley

🦢 “Prospect Heights” won the 1.0M and the 1.05M classes with owner Morgan Munz
