📣🆘️💲‼️WE DESPERATELY NEED DONATIONS‼️💲🆘️📣

Ok Glenn Heights supporters, we need you now more than ever! Thursday, our sweet Lady Bug 🐞 left on transport, and headed up north to an amazing rescue who already had a forever family awaiting her when she stepped off transport! Talk about one lucky little lady. Transport was long, and really hard on her. Lady Bug didn't arrive to her final destination until after 7pm yesterday. She was very lethargic, unable to move her legs, she won't eat or drink, and has a fever of 106. Lady Bug was rushed to the emergency vet this morning. She is on oxygen and an IV. The next 48 hours will be critical. They will be keeping a close watch on her.

We all know an overnight vet visit can break a rescue. This bill could run into the thousands and thousands of dollars. The rescue that pulled Lady Bug is splitting the bill with the adopter, but we want to help as much as we can. Lady Bug 🐞 was one of ours. She waited too long for a family of her own to love her. She finally has one and now she is critical, fighting for her life. PLEASE, if you can donate ANYTHING, EVERY DOLLAR DONATED will go directly towards Lady Bugs medical care. We can not let this girl slip away. She deserves to know what true love is. PLEASE HELP US SAVE LADY BUGS LIFE!

Despite being in doggy jail, this sweet girl is so happy and lovable! If anyone is looking for a smaller-medium sized dog, this girl is the one for you! She’s about 25 lbs, fully vetted and ready for her forever home!

PUPDATE; ADOPTED!!!! 🥰😍♥️

MEET SADIE!

Sadie is an owner surrender because the elderly family couldn’t physically take care of her any longer. We are told she’s a beagle/hound mix. She’s 3 years old and fully vetted including spayed, up to date on all vaccines including rabies and is an overall A+ dog! She’s approx. 25-30 lbs so she’s smaller and remain so.

We love when our volunteers come by to give love to our animals! Thanks for spending part of your busy day with us; esp on Halloween! The animals loved the treats for Halloween! We are grateful for every single one of our people who volunteer and support us! A HUGE thanks to every ONE of you!

Some of you may already know, but if not I wanted to share some devastating news. We recently lost a huge part of our rescue community, Drew Daily, the ACO at Hutchins Animal Shelter. He recently lost his battle against depression.

Drew was such an asset to the community. Whenever we needed help, Drew was always just a phone call away. His job did not stop in Hutchins. He did so much more for the surrounding communities as well. He is already so terribly missed. Rescue will never be the same without him.

This coming Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 11am there will be a memorial held to celebrate Drew's life. We would love for everyone who can attend to join us. Drew was loved by so many. The service will be held at Park Springs Bible Church located at 5515 Park Springs Blvd, Arlington, TX 76017.

Drew was a big Texas Rangers fan. I think he would love to see some fellow Rangers fans sitting in the pews bidding him his final farewell. ⚾️ Feel free to sport your Ranger gear.

A family friend has set up a gofund me. As you know, an ACO doesn't do the job for the paycheck, they do it because they love animals. If you would like to help by making a small donation, the link will be in the comments. This was very unexpected, and has been very difficult on Drew's family. Thank you for anything you're able to gift.

Dakota is 2 years old, fixed and up to date on vaccines. He was an owner surrender due to him being “too hyper.”

He loved truck rides and jumps in when told to. He loves other dogs and just a good ole boy.

Our sweet lady bug is starting to get really depressed being at the shelter. She’s our star girl who is so easy going. She’s confused why she left a home to live in at a scary shelter. It’s heartbreaking. This girl is good with everyone. She doesn’t pay any attention to the other animals. She just wants to have a family of her own. She’s fully vetted which is even better for both her and you!

PLEASE don’t let her stay at this SPOOKY place. It would be a TREAT for her to have a home this HALLOWEEN! 👻 🎃 🐞
