The alpha mentality is wrong and outdated. It was made popular by the show “ The dog whisperer” the American veterinary society of animal behavior ( AVSAB) recommends choosing a trainer, who understands and uses reward base training, and stays up-to-date on the developments in the animal behavior field.

We are often asked the question from owners: How do I establish myself as the head of the pack, or alpha dog, with my dogs? “Head of the pack” is a buzz phrase made popular by trainers, handlers, and even TV personalities like Cesar Millan who fundamentally misunderstand dog behavior.

10000000 thanks to all the families that have donated to whiskies off leash during the month of November so far we have raised $250 smackaroons! That’s insane I’ll keep working my butt off to get to our goal of $1000! Looking forward to helping out in our wonderful community!

Are all things you could donate and can mean the difference in a dogs care! If you have a few old blankets or towels they could be used for bedding kennels can be donated to families or fosters in need kitty litter is kinda obvious! So please if you have anything someone’s trash is someone else’s treasure come and donate! If you have stuff dm and I’ll come take it off your hands if you don’t know where to take it feel free to dm! Anything will help so much

For the full month of November all training will be completely donation based! What ever is donated will go back into the dog community meaning it will go to rescues and into helping families that require financial aid for training sessions! Here is Bo the husky pit mix! He was with me for a 7 days this was day one with Bo I wanted to see how he walked on a leash and it’s safe to say he walks like a shelter dog but all that means is we have some work to do!💕🐾💕
