Hey Humans! It’s a new year so allow me to re-introduce myself. I’m Laura Wehrle, I own Honey Bee Grooming over here on Dix Ave in Glens Falls. We’re going on 3 years of business coming up in March. I have this cute little beagle mix named Honey. She is the COO of HBG and you’ll see her at the salon on Mondays. The shop is small and quiet, I only take one family at a time. Skin & coat is my specialty, I have a canine esthetician certification. I use top of the line products that not only keep your pets fresh and clean but their skin healthy. I spent 6 years working in veterinary medicine so I am very familiar with allergies and have a keen eye for abnormalities and am able to accommodate pets with medical issues. Your pet and I will probably be listening to audio books while we spend time together. my favorite genre is Fantasy- I hope it’s theirs too. I am a certified dog trainer which gives me an arsenal of knowledge to make the grooming process more comfortable and cooperative. If you become a regular you’ll notice my hair is always a different color, i cant seem to keep it the same for more then 3 months! Although I don’t groom cats anymore I have two of my own which I adore but truly they love my husband more. I’m taking new clients and have openings in January & February. With our new building opening Wednesday, January 15th, a new service is going to be provided to our community. Urgent Care!

This service will act similarly to a human urgent care facility. You may call ahead, or walk in. You do not need to be an existing client of Moreau Animal Clinic to utlilize this service. Regardless, cases will be assessed by the attending veterinarian and seen in order of urgency.

Please be advised, similarly to a human urgent care, depending on the severity of your pet's condition, you may be directed immediately or transferred to a 24 hour hospital. Anything considered critical should bypass our urgent care and go straight to a 24 hour emergency hospital.

Our urgent care hours will be Monday through Friday 8am-6pm. WE DO NOT have overnight staff or weekend hours.

***Prices for exams and services within urgent care will be different than our general practice***
We will provide an estimate for any treatment and diagnostics necessary for your pet based on the veterinarian's initial exam. We will also be offering TWO forms of payment plans. CareCredit and AllPet. You may apply prior to arrival online, or within the office. Payment is still expected at time services are rendered. We will continue to strive to be as cost effective as possible.

Please note, existing clients of Moreau Animal Clinic are still able to book "problem exams" in advance with our general practice. However, if you call for a same day appointment and we are completely booked on the general practice side, you will be referred to our urgent care department if it is something you feel needs to be addressed that day.

Our team appreciates everyone's patience during this big transition for our practice. We will continue to provide the utmost quality care for the animals in our community. If you have any questions at all about any changes or hospital policies, please feel free to reach out to the office manager or practice owners within normal business hours.
