Who doesn’t love a bromance?
Stitch’s adoption story is so sweet. He lived in NYC with his original owner for the last 12 years of his life. After his owner died recently, the landlord was cleaning house and Stitch was dumped at a shelter as part of the plan! Fortunately for Stitch, his new owner took Stitch while knowing he required many medical interventions, and didn’t care the cost.
One of Stitch’s chronic issues is related to eye disease. Poor wonderful dog is blind in his right eye but he only cares that his new owner is doggone madly in love with him♥️🐶
Adopting senior pets and those with special needs is so important and so rewarding.

Did you know giant breed cats are more prone to some genetic diseases, such as cardiovascular disease?
Sedated grooms are an important facet of healthcare for certain cats that suffer from high anxiety, have tightly matted fur, or dislike being handled. Sedation prevents injury and stress for these furry feline friends during their grooming visits, making their trip to the salon much better all around!

Matt did a slow, steady and gentle ear cleaning and the clogged canal was open! We cannot figure out what the clump was, but probably a mix of ear yuck joining with hair all built up over time. Relief. 🥳😺

From the ancient medical application of acupuncture to the current application of telemedicine, we strive to offer our patients the best healthcare experience possible. Sometimes you simply don’t have the time for a trip to the office, or maybe you’re not feeling well yourself, we have made it possible for your pet to be treated by FPS. Sometimes telehealth isn’t always ideal for our patients, we will let you know. Sometimes we will still need a hands-on exam of your pet to provide the very best possible outcome. Telehealth is a great mix to your standard in-clinic visit. You must have a current client-patient relationship to be eligible.
Appointments by availability for acupuncture and telehealth.

Hey, sibling rivalry doesn’t have to be a thing….
He just became a big brother to little Lady the adorable puppy! Remember, adding a new pet to the home means they must learn to share your precious time and their personal space with the newest arrival. Pets do become territorial over their owners, their toys, food, and general living spaces. Work the kinks out gently by giving your first 🐕 or 🐈‍⬛ plenty of attention on their own. Make the new transition to a shared life with the new 🐶 or 🐈 fun for everyone.
Eventually, Prince Charming will see Lady as one the “pack”. He will help to get Lady housebroken by showing her the correct potty tactics, and will help Lady spend her endless energy by playing with her, so you don’t have do it all on your own. Introductions work best if you work slowly at it, especially for our feline friends.

Just a tiny pup, Agnes, about 160 pounds of gentleness, is such a spoiled girl!
Nothing is too good for Agnes. Her quality of life and the quality of her health are top priorities for her mother. She takes long walks, eats the best food, gets the full attention to her daily needs, as she should.
Great Danes have special needs. They are so big that they develop arthritis early on, they are prone to a stomach condition called bloat, they have a higher incidence of bone growth disorders. Many Danes have their literal own couches and beds, and they have no shortage of drool. And, don’t forget, they may have very large 💩, so keep these things in mind.
