The two tragic airline accidents once again strike the heart.
The scope of this is immeasurable and the ripple effect to so many is basically incomprehensible.
The team here at Kulak Equestrian knows first-hand the pain felt with the tragic loss of our precious and valued friend, Wayne Barr. Our hearts go out to so many who are experiencing an enormous suffering and loss at this time, including the first responders who have the incredibly challenging job to recover all of the victims of these accidents.
Remember, it is crucial to value every day and every person in your life as you never know from one moment to the next how life may change. 😔😔🙏🙏💕💕❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

We arrived in Wellington in late October and we hit the ground galloping!
Several horses have been competing and all our riders were here enjoying spectacular weather and a very busy riding holiday!
This year presented many valuable life lessons from both the highs and lows of an equestrian career.
The takeaways presented are very valuable.
It's so important not to let life's pendulum swing too far either way,
always aim for the bright side and put your heart and soul into what you do every day!

Two very special ladies in my life are celebrating their birthdays this week!
My Mom(Mrs. K)and my sister Annie. I am deeply grateful to both for everything that they have contributed to my life and my equestrian success. Annie and I now share the responsibilities of ensuring our mom's health and happiness at the highest possible level.
In addition, we share the management of the incredible paradise that we are blessed with at the farm.
We understand the tremendous commitment and sacrifice that our mom made for all six of her children.
It is now our turn to ensure that we follow the example she laid out for so many years.
Mom, you have seen me through the highs and lows of being a top equestrian professional and never waivered in your unconditional support. Happy birthday to you both! After a truly beautiful Summer and an equally spectacular Fall, the cooler weather has begun to slip in with Winter just around the corner, and that means that Kulak Equestrian has moved from one paradise to another! Overall, it was a great summer. We are blessed with many nice horses and exceptional owners along with a first-class crew! As a professional, you are only as good as the people around you and this year has been represented by a special group. They have managed the bumps in the road and the mountains to climb with incredible empathy and commitment. Our farm in New York is truly an equestrian paradise; helping to produce happy, athletic, and sound horses! The maintenance of that paradise is significant and it is indeed an equestrian heaven....
I would like to acknowledge all of those who played a role in keeping the same extraordinary standard that my dad and mom established many years ago... a heartfelt thank you to those who help keep this farm a top-notch equestrian facility and an incredibly beautiful place to call home: Mrs. K, Annie, Pete, Emily, Miriam, Chris, Zoë, Sophia, Selah, Quinne, Pam, Sammie and Bobbi! 🩷

Huge congratulations to Taylor Cawley for winning the platinum performance USEF Talent Search Finals-East!
I've watched Taylor develop into one of the countries top junior riders since her debut in the pony hunters eight years ago!
At WEF in 2023 she rode one of Kulak Equestrian's top Sale Horses, Roqui, formally owned by Gloria Callen. Together they won numerous classes along with the 1.35 junior jumper classic during week 11.
Taylor is bestowed with exceptional riding skills, however, more importantly, she possesses great sportsmanship, kindness, incredible work ethic, and a love for her horses. It is so important to recognize these up-and-coming young riders who's success is based on hard work, determination, resilience & an ability to handle the emotional ups and downs of an equestrian sport.
Taylor's mom Molly Ashe Cawley is a longtime friend of mine. We trained together with the legendary Frank Gombolay as young professionals. Taylor is clearly following in her mom's footsteps!
It is rewarding to see the next generation achieve hard earned success.
Congratulations to Taylor, her family, Stacia Madden and her team at Beacon Hill along with all the supporters of this lovely young lady!
