Thelma and Louis were found being thrown back and fourth across a busy hwy by some hateful people with the attempt of them being killed or hit by a car. An elderly lady met us at Wrights Veterinary Clinic with them very upset to witness this 🥹 They were in pretty bad shape needing nutrition and love,Thelma has a non malignant tumor that needs to be removed as it appears to grow larger and seems uncomfortable. She’s an elder dog and Louise is her daughter even if not biological and they are bonded bestfriends, they cannot and will not be separated when adopted they must go together! We are raising money to remove the tumor. With the testing and removal it’s gonna be about $350. We are in constant need of food! 🥹 It takes 2 1/2 50 lb bags a day to feed the entire sanctuary. We are currently working on decreasing our population by focusing on responsible adoptions for our babies 🐶and strictly not being able to take in anymore until we get to a manageable amount where we are self-sustaining and not constantly wondering 💭 how we are gonna keep them all fed. We have also not been able to help the community as much and as often with food because we have just been “getting by” ourselves. Thanks 🙏 to our “continued support” we have been making it through. Right now we are really tight on food. If you wanna help you can call in at Farm Ranch and Feed and make a donation, they will be happy to assist in anyway 870-356-3916 Each bag is $27.50 each plus tax. Only if 4th, 2nd and Clay Street kept thier dogs contained so I could walk Chase, he is very upset…… 😢 Maybe some fines, ordinance enforcement and tickets 🎫 would help 😞
