AMH will be closing at 5:30pm on Thursday, 1/16/25. Please be mindful of this early closure for any medication refill requests or planned pick ups. We are back to normal operating hours on Friday, 1/17/25. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thanks for your understanding! 🐾

Good morning, friends.

Due to the continued inclement weather here and forecasted for the day, AMH will be closed today (1/6/25). We apologize for any inconvenience. For those experiencing a pet emergency, please contact your local veterinary emergency hospital. A few veterinary ER facilities local to our area include:

The winter storm is approaching! For now, we are planning for a delayed opening with an early morning assessment of conditions. Another announcement will be made before 7AM tomorrow morning, Monday, January 6th, 2025, with a final decision on a closure. Please stay tuned and be safe out there.

Today is a sad but celebratory day, as our beloved Sonni is retiring. She has been with AMH for 23 years. Every day that she is here, she brings a smile and sunshine. Sonni is such a compassionate soul and she adds such fun to our team. We are sad to see her go and grateful for the many years she has been with us. We wish her nothing but the best on her next adventure and welcome pop-in visits (because we will miss her so). Thank you for all you have done for AMH, the entire staff and our amazing patients. We love you! 💛🐾😘

We couldn’t pick our favorite picture of Gracie, who paid us a festive visit this morning. At 19 years old, she remains unimpressed with our human, holiday traditions, but she is such a good sport!

🦃🐾 This Thanksgiving, we're filled with gratitude for the trust you've placed in us to care for your furry family members. As we take time to reflect and celebrate with our loved ones, we want to let you know that Animal Medical Hospital at Glenwood will be closed on Thursday, November 28th. We'll be back to our regular hours on Friday, November 29th.

Our Howl-o-ween Pet Costume Contest winner was Cy! He is the cutest cowboy around! 🤠🐾. His mom picked up his gift basket this morning.
