Please Welcome Dr. Torres!!
He is the newest addition to Glenwood Village Pet Hospital. Originally from Connecticut, Dr. Torres attended Boston University where he first uncovered his passion for animals and wildlife after majoring in ecology in 2017. After completing his undergraduate studies, he gained further exposure to animals of all kinds when he decided to become a wildlife rehabber at Roaring Brook Nature Center in Canton CT. After years as a wildlife rehabber, and volunteering at his local small animal clinics, Dr. Torres finally felt ready to take the next step in his career. He began his veterinary journey at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021, and finished his clinical year at the University of Minnesota.
In his spare time, Dr. Torres considers himself a movie buff and even has a tradition of creating a “best films of the year” list that he shares with people. Some of his favorites include “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” and “Moonlight.” He loves being outdoors, and is excited to explore the beauty of the Midwest.
