Guys, we couldn’t be more excited to announce that we have 6 dogs on this transport to IL/WI!! The only dogs left in our rescue are Bruce and Pongo. That’s AMAZING!! You guys rock!
We couldn’t continue running without transporting. 5 adoptions just on this trip!! I can’t even explain how excited I am!

Transporting is NOT cheap and tonight we will be traveling MANY miles! I will be meeting Angel (IL Director) in Marion IL, and she will take the dogs north from there! Please help us hope for safe travels 💖 In total, between all of our directors we will be traveling 2202 miles!

We have an unfortunate announcement to make.

Like most rescues in our area, we have been struggling for a while. The support is down, and our expenses are way up. We have spent so much in the past few months, honestly it’s going to take us years to financially recover. Vet bill here, feed bills there.. our credits are maxed out.
After a long discussion between our directors, there’s genuinely no way we can continue operating. We appreciate all of the support and donations we have received, but it doesn’t scratch the surface of what we owe. We have been drowning and finally we have sunk.
We are officially closing our rescue.
We still would like to help our community, but we have to recoup first. On our transport I got into an accident, causing some pretty expensive damage to my car. Thankfully everyone is okay (dogs included) but, this has been exhausting. I’m a one man band here in Arkansas, and I can’t do this alone anymore.

We’d like to sincerely thank everyone for supporting us. Our raffle fundraiser is still open to help pay on vet bills. We owe over $3500 right now between credit cards, accounts, etc. Donations are still appreciated to help us catch up. We hope to come back to rescuing one day, we just aren’t sure when.
We still have Bruce & Pongo available for adoption. They desperately are looking for their forever homes.

URGENT REQUEST 🔔‼️

As most of our followers know, we are less than a week away from our transport! We have 3 dogs for sure going north, and we are hoping to fill more slots. Between the vetting necessary for this trip, and food we have DRAINED our accounts!! Right now we are solely relying on personal funds. We NEED donations to make this transport possible! 💔
We are estimating to spend atleast $500 on this trip. Glenwood AR, to Crandon WI is ALOT of miles and that’s not counting the stops in between. Please help us get these dogs to their new forever homes!

We absolutely love seeing updates on our adopted dogs!!!

Raya was on our last transport! Look at how happy she is now with her furever family!

Transporting dogs saves lives! That's why we need your help!

Being able to have transports for our rescue dogs is absolutely amazing! This opens up so many opportunities and more homes! However transporting does come at a cost! We are expecting to spend at least $500 on transport! We've had wonderful support from communities near and far and we need your support to help continue our mission!

We currently have 3 dogs being transported!

Whitney is going to Wisconsin to Blockhead Dog Training and Services for a board and train/foster. She will be available for adoption after training!

Onyx is going to Illinois to an amazing home that has poodle experience and will keep up with his gorgeous coat!

Peach is going to Illinois to an awesome home with an active playmate and bully breed experience!

Long Post Incoming..
We are a week away from our transport!! Onyx & Whitney have for sure rides up north. I know we’ve spoke about it a lot but I can’t stress enough how important this opportunity is… we hope to continue having transportation opportunities to help save dogs in need.
We are still trying to fundraise to help with the costs of transport. AR to IL/WI/IN/MI is a lot of miles and will cost us! We just wiped out all of our funds on vetting and prevention. I’m going on a feed run today, and that’s coming out of my pocket… these costs absolutely eat us alive! Angel (our IL director) and I have been working our BUTTS off to cover all these costs, and with making this trip it’s time off work we have to take. We appreciate ALL of the support and followers we have gained recently, without you we couldn’t make this possible.

I try to keep my personal information off of the rescue page and keep the focus on our dogs. Here in AR, I’m a one man band.. I have no help at all. My husband helps when he can, but he works full time. I balance work, caring for my kids, and all of the rescue work. Honestly, some days I’m not sure how I do it 🥲 I battle chronic illness (Crohn’s Disease) and even when I flare i still manage to get up and care for the babies in our care.. I’m all they have. They never go without, even on the days I feel like I’m going to break.
Diving into a vulnerable topic… I recently announced I am pregnant with my 3rd child. My first 2 kids were extremely high risk and I was hospitalized for most of their pregnancies/ they had NICU time. This was unexpected, but a blessing nonetheless. I’ve seriously been stressing about how I’ll care for the dogs we have as I get further along. Since I started rescuing, I’ve pushed my body to every limit it can hit. I simply can’t do that now… that would risk not only my babies life but mine as well.

We desperately need adoptions. We desperately need fosters. All of our adoptions are SPONSORED! Monday, Whitney will be spayed then all of our dogs will be completely up to date on spay/ neuter and vetting.
Every dog/ puppy that gets adopted will come with a bag of food, a toy/chew, collar/leash, a months worth of flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and more. We have great resources on our team including 2 amazing trainers. When you adopt from us, you join our family. We have a 24/7 open door policy, if you need ANYTHING we are there!
We have 6 amazing dogs/ puppies available for adoption right now. Next week we will be making a transport trip through the AR/MI/IL/IN/WI areas and we aren’t not opposed at all to going off our route for the perfect home.

I’ve helped out many over the last few years in the rescue world, but when we need help there’s crickets… I understand everyone is struggling right now. We are on the verge of sinking. We have big plans for moving our rescue and helping Arkansas as much as we can. We have very new exciting opportunities for the community coming soon as well for low cost/ FREE vetting… but we can’t do this alone.
I don’t mean to be negative in any way, but I’m worried for our future.

We want to give a huge thank you to Best Friends in Bentonville, AR! They have helped us so much! Thanks to them, all of our adoptable dogs have been spayed/neutered! They take amazing care of the dogs and are so kind!

The dogs adore them! Pongo had to say goodbye with a bunch of kisses ❤️

‼️ We have an announcement to make…
We are ‘remodeling’ our rescue.

We have been ‘officially’ open since January 2024, and we have been drowning since our opening. We cannot continue to operate like this. In Arkansas are adoptions are extremely low, along with community support..
We have been scraping by with covering almost all costs out of pocket. We appreciate ALL of the donations we get! But in reality, even with the ones we have gotten we are still barely making it.
We have received an astonishing amount of support from the IL/WI area! 3 of our dogs have found AMAZING homes/ fosters up north.
One of our amazing executive directors live in IL, and after careful consideration we have decided the best course for our rescue will be creating a facility there.

🔔 WE WILL STILL BE SAVING DOGS IN ARKANSAS! Our plan is to transport dogs from Arkansas to our IL facility regularly to boost their chances of finding REAL, RESPONSIBLE, AMAZING homes!!
This move is going to take time, and it’s going to be costly. We are trying to think about the long-term impact our rescue can make. If we keep operating like we are now, we would have to completely shut down by the end of the year. We are in debt. We are struggling.

Yesterday we made the 3.5 hr drive to Bentonville for Onyx, Winnie, and Hope’s spay/neuters! It was so beautiful, we had a few hours to explore while we waited. Best Friends Animal Society was AMAZING and so so kind to us! We are so grateful for the opportunity to get discounted vetting. We will be bringing Lilo, Peach, Pongo and Nala next Friday, August 2nd. All donations for vetting are appreciated!! Even with the gas for the trip, it saves us ALOT from our regular vet….

Long Post Ahead..
Tears were shed writing this 💔

Meet Whitney. We pulled Whitney (previously Sugar) yesterday from Hot Springs Animal Services. She was at the top of their euthanasia list because of some behavioral issues she showed.
One of their officers reached out to us, desperate for her to be saved. She shows so much potential, and she is full of love. She tends to react harshly in stressful situations, she didn’t know who to trust. Her breed is one of the many misunderstood ones we strive to save.
Whitney pulled at my heart strings… I couldn’t let her die. Nova had reactivity issues her entire life, she was misunderstood by others. The connection Nova and I had was like no other and I miss her every day… Nova was the reason we started rescuing.

Whitney will be going to WI to a foster who is experienced in the breed, and works as a behavioral modification dog trainer. We are so grateful to have the transportation opportunities we are offered. 3 of our rescues have found AMAZING homes up north! To continue saving misunderstood dogs like Whitney, we need your help.

To make this transport possible to help Whitney, and our other rescues we NEED your help. We are bringing 3 dogs to be spayed/ neutered tomorrow at Best Friends, we have 4 scheduled for next week. Whitney will be spayed soon as well! We need donations to survive. Lately, our directors have had to cover ALL of these costs out of pocket because donations have slowed down. We can’t continue to work like this 😔 We are so grateful for the donations we have received, as well as the prime day deals that were sent to us!

🚨 STANDARD POODLE LOVERS!!
Meet Onyx!
Onyx is searching for his forever home! He is a 2.5 year old standard poodle. He will be neutered this Friday, July 26th. He’s a very sterotypical poodle and has all the jokes in the world!
Onyx has been doing great with grooming, and has gotten groomed regularly since he’s been with us. He enjoys cuddling on the couch, or playing with toys!
Onyx is still learning confidence in public, and walking on a leash. When he arrived he completely shut down on a leash and would not move or would freak out, now he will walk well on a leash but he’s still a bit anxious.

Onyx does great with other dogs! He can be a tad bit pushy though. He hasn’t been tested with cats. He does well with my small children, but like any dog he should be supervised.

** Onyx will require daily coat maintenance. This is a big responsibility, please consider this if you are interested in him 🙏**

Hi everyone! We are excited to share the news of a wonderful transport opportunity!

We have reduced the adoption fees of any dog who will be on the transport! The adoption fee for any dog going on transport will only be $30! This helps to cover a bit of our transportation costs!

Our route is Glenwood, AR to Sikeston, MO. Then Sikeston, MO to Manteno, IL. Arrangements can be made for any location in Illinois, Western Indiana, Eastern Missouri, and Southern Wisconsin! We truly want the best homes for our pups! Transport gives them the best chance at finding their furever home!

Our goal is to meet in Sikeston, MO on August 14th. August 14-16th dogs will be transported to their new homes based on location!

We are needing 3-4 small/medium (24”-36”) kennels for puppies while they recover from their spay/neuter. If you have one we can temporarily use, please reach out. We are in Glenwood but often travel to Hot Springs and surrounding areas, we can pick up.
