A meaningful reason why leash laws are a thing...
Today, Rocco snuck around Lowe's. NOT because we were doing something wrong, but becasue we were avoiding another dog.
This is because I KNOW Rocco was not ready for a dog encounter and he would have just exploded. Then I would have had to correct him while pulling him from the situation.
Instead we avoided, took in what we could handle and left on a proud positive note.
If you are bringing your dog directly to the problem....that may be a problem...baby steps people. lol
Keep cheering on Rocco! We want him to be able to be calm in public and let the world spin around him.
