As we're all on high alert, catering to her every whim and watching her like a hawk, Dusty Rose seems totally chill about going into labor and releasing the hostages. We don't know her exact due date, but she's dropping some serious hints that it's almost go time. Which means we're stuck in baby-watch mode. Fingers crossed she doesn't decide the perfect moment to kick out the free-loaders is during the snowstorm tonight or tomorrow. Luckily, her foster is on top of things and taking fabulous care of her.
Mama Kelcey babies are 1 week old today. They are all over 1 pound now and have established a sleep/eat cycle so that so far mama is able keep up with all 10 of them. Mama is such a sweet girl and is so patient. She is enjoying all her meals of her puppy food, formula, cooked chicken, etc. Feeding 10 babies is hard work for Kelcey which means she has to eat alot and rarely gets to truly rest. This video shows how content she is and trusting.
Please help us with food and supplies as we now have 2 mamas in rescue plus 4 puppies. Which will soon be soooo many babies eating also.
With Mama Kelcey and her team of 10, the other 4 babies, and now Dusty Rose, we're going to need a steady supply of Purina Pro Plan Puppy food, canned puppy food, puppy pee pads, puppy formula, toys, dewormer, flea meds, bleach, cleaning supplies, and other essential items to ensure these remarkable animals receive the care they deserve.

Ursela is thriving and happy in her foster-to-adopt home. After being in a shelter where she was too fearful to be touched, she is now happy and loved. We are working closely with our veterinarian to schedule her spaying procedure after she experienced a near-fatal reaction to anesthesia during a previous attempt.
Jake, who arrived for rescue a few days ago, in great need of grooming has shown how resiliant dogs are. This evening, he is happily playing with his new foster sister, another doodle. He is currently in a foster-to-adopt home. We must complete his veterinary screening before we can formally adopt him.
Holly here has been trying to show everybody how amazing she is but it seems nobody is noticing. So…. Holly has decided to turn the volume up to get the word out that she is still waiting for her forever family. Holly is amazing with all age and size dogs, and even cats. She is a very well behaved girl who knows many commands. Her challenge is she has stranger danger - she has fearful barking with new people. Be patient and you will see how sweet and funny this girl is. She is being fostered in Portsmouth.
Where do all dogs who were good at the vet go? To get a cheeseburger and ice cream at McDonalds of course.
Bubba went to vet this morning for yearly vet stuff and of course enjoyed his McDonalds cheeseburger and ice cream.
