I’ve started to write this post a dozen times and I am still not sure what to say.
When his sire (RUNNER) won the world in 2021 I didn’t think there could be a better feeling in world…but Bear proved me wrong.
After going 4/4 at nationals and winning the overall NATIONALHBCH Category this spring, BEAR didn’t owe us anything. But for him to follow that up by getting hauled 11 hours to Missouri and to once again go 4/4, coming out on top as the NEW WORLD CHAMPION….leaves me completely speechless. We have been so fortunate to follow these dogs and they keep showing what they are capable of…..
I cannot wait to start on the next one. E
Thanks to Benji Robison for keeping him ran up this summer and his willingness to help out anyway he can.
Big thanks to Donovan Guy for always being there to jump in and handle a dog and always putting us in a good position to win.
Thanks to John Hurt for allowing me to get bear back from him last fall
Big thanks and congratulations to Brandon Auflick for making this cross and putting so much work in the dogs that produced Bear.
We can’t thank the Little family enough for giving us a place to stay this past week and all of their support.
Thanks to Jason Snelson, Mike Roy, and Garrett Cunningham for giving us a place to run dogs all week.
And a huge thanks to my Wife (Olivia Koons), my entire family, and all my close friends for putting up with my crazy obsession of these dogs and my desire to compete in these big hunts.
Congrats to all of the winners, especially all who were involved in the final cast.
