It's with a sad heart to let our clients and their pets know that earlier this week that the founder of GVC passed away.
Clearwater - Dr. Jack D. Reynolds, age 75, ret. Veterinarian, Original Owner of Goddard Veterinary Clinic, U.S. Air Force Vietnam Veteran, K-State 1981 Graduate, Loving, caring, reliable, avid hunter and fisherman, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022.
Celebration of Life, 11AM, Saturday, November 5, 2022 at First Baptist Church, Clearwater.
Jack was born on Tuesday, July 1, 1947 in Topeka, Kansas. He was the youngest of three children born to James Henry Reynolds and Mary Ruth (Bedford) Reynolds. He was united in marriage to Nancy Carol Sloop on July 7, 1967 in Topeka, KS.
Jack was an avid bow hunter and fisherman. He was a 3 time national archery champion with a recurve bow. He received his doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from KSU in 1981. Jack obtained a pilots license in 1996.
Preceded by parents, James and Mary Ruth (Bedford) Reynolds; brother, Dr. James Reynolds; grandson, Chance Davidson. Survivors: wife, Nancy (Sloop) Reynolds; daughters, Shellie (Mike) Fink of Urbana, MO, Brenda (Aaron) Clark of Clearwater; brother, Carroll Reynolds of AZ; grandchildren, Lacey, Shelbie, and Jacob Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Keyonia Reynolds, Lathan Pugh, Blakelea Pugh, Laila Reynolds, Lilli Reynolds, Sophia Pugh, and Liliana Pugh.
