My favorite comet in the 40 gal tank, from above and the side view. The definition between his colors is outstanding but I am partial so tell me what you think.
2year old Sarrassa Comets/mixed goldfish ready for new homes. DM me for info
Spent a couple minutes with my fish. Well, really I spent a lot of minutes but just captured these few on video.
A few of the 21 month old mixed goldfish in a 50 gallon breeder tank. A recently acquired central aeration system has really made for some happy fish and a more tranquil sound level with 7 aquariums up and running in my living space. #goldfishjunkie #goldfish #handraisedgoldfish
More of the 20 month olds but in a 40 gallon tank, some with fancy black trim. It will be interesting to watch and see if they keep their black markings as they grow.
20 months old. Camera shy but hoping for food to fall from it.
I got the 12 year olds moved into a fresh 55 gallon tank. Gave them the garden pond filter box for filtration and water surface movement for plenty of air. I knew they would spawn once they settled in. I’m not prepared for another batch of baby goldfish. They will just have to eat their eggs. At least I won’t be worrying about my female that was looking egg bound. And I know for sure now that I have 2 females. 4 males. Caviar anyone?
18 month old comet goldfish ready for rehoming. Hand raised in home. Disease and parasite free. $20 each. 2-4 inches in length.
12 year old Sarrassa Comets and Wakins.
8 month old mixed goldfish in a 10 gallon tank. Happy little tricolor in there.
8 weeks old goldfish fry. Fingers crossed for some fan tails.
These 15 month olds are ready to be sorted into new tanks and some will be available. They range from 2-3 inches in length. All have been raised right here in this fish nursery and are disease and parasite free.
They are mixed Sarrassa Comet/Wakin origin.
All the 15 month old goldfish have gotten their color except one. I’d really like it if he remains as he is, black with an orange underbelly. But of course like the others, change is inevitable. Some of the other have changed colors and marking multiple times already.
Lots of fry doing quite well.
Guess I better prepare more tanks for occupancy in a few months. Fingers crossed. I count at least 40-50 currently.
Little Bit, the tiny goldfish, is feeling better today. He wasn’t energetic until I fed him, but his appetite is back and that salt water is only 1 Table spoon to 1 gallon of water.
