We're finally settled in after coming home from fair. 6 days makes for a long fair stay but so worth it! The kids did awesome and even took on new challenges this year, met new friends and made lasting memories. Evergreen State Fair 2022 is in the books!

Keegan got Best of Breed with his French Lop Pistachio and a blue ribbon for his FL Luna. He got blues on both his color and also black and white photography, earning the special award for his black and white and Intermediate Reserve Champion for his color (both photos are of his FL Jasper). He got a blue ribbon for showmanship with Pistachio, and also earned Reserve Champion with his intermediate Rabbit Bowl team.

Karleigh got blue ribbons for both her rabbits, Jersey Wooly Teddy and Netherland Dwarf Sq**rt. She got blues for both photography entries and also won Junior Champion for her black and white photo of Teddy. She won Junior Reserve Champion for showmanship and also earned Junior Champion with her Rabbit Bowl team.

Yesterday we attended Northwest Rabbit Breeders - NWRB Spring Show!

The kids had lots of fun! Karleigh did a good job putting together her first "meat pen." She placed 5th. Keegan's frenchie Matcha earned another leg! Matcha got BOSB in Show B.

There were some great prizes in the raffle; we were the lucky ones to win SCM Cages raffle item 😃

Thank you to everyone who put the show on and came out to participate in the fun!

Congratulations to everyone on your wins! 🥳 There were some great looking rabbits on the tables.

Out of all or bunnies Jasper enjoys yard time the most. He loves to run and dig! After a bit he likes to go stretch out under the trampoline for a rest before going back to playing. He's such a sweet, fun guy 🥰

Yesterday was the Spring 4H show put on by a local 4H Rabbit Club : The Greensleeves.
The show was lots of fun!

We're very proud of our kids, they have came a long way from their first time doing Showmanship. They both had way more confidence up at the table. Keegan prepared a breed speech and was able to answer the judges questions. Karleigh stood up straight and paid attention well. She didn't know some answers but she spoke clearly and was confident in her answers.

Both kids competed in showmanship, type, and even a costume contest! They both received blue ribbons in all events.

Keegan received BOSB with his French Lop Pistachio.

Karleigh received Reserve Grand Champion for costume. Her and Teddy (Jersey Wooly) were The Princess and the Frog!

Our 3rd and final New Zealand litter was born in the early hours today 🥰

We recently acquired Cleo and she is such a sweet girl! When we got her she was already bred, to a New Zeland REW.
It's going to be fun to see their colors come in. She had 11 kits, how many do you think will be red? How many do you think will be white?

Hopefully we will get some red keepers to grow Karleigh's New Zealand Red program

Jasper was our first French Lop 😍 We were head over heals for the breed after experiencing him!

He's a gorgeous guy with the quite the personality! Everyone loves Jasper ❤ Our days just wouldn't be as enjoyable without him, he's such a character!

Some of Jasper's favorite activities include running around the yard, hanging with his boy Keegan, and playing tricks on me 😆

Equinox is a fawn Netherland Dwarf. She is a great mother and such a sweetheart.

We are looking forward to an upcoming breeding with Equinox. We have our fingers crossed for orange 😍🤞We know whatever she gives us will be adorable!

We got these beauties from Treehorn Farms!

So grateful to get a nice big buck to add to our New Zeland Red breeding stock. Clancy is gorgeous and has a wonderful temperament.
With the addition of Astrid we will get not only Reds from her, and also hopefully more Chestnut. We would love to be on the ground floor of helping Chestnut to becoming an ARBA recognized color for New Zelands. She is so adorable and sweet, loves cuddles!
