They say it’s only a horse…
But it’s not…
It’s so much more…
It’s a heart that paces with yours
It’s empathy , kindness, and love
It’s a soul like no other
That gives all it has to another
They are so much more !

They carry us
They trust us
They listen to us
They give all they have to us
Even in fear or pain or sickness
For centuries they have risen to the needs and desires of us

Their ears tell us a story
Their body language teaches people how to treat others
Their hearts teach people to love outside of themselves
They react out of fear but that doesn’t mean they don’t belong here…
Horses teach us to accept challenges, make us better by getting us to think out of the box…
Teach us growth, love, patience and so much more…

So just remember it’s not just a horse… take time to listen and to love, to grow and to laugh at their silly antics… slow down in the moment…

So the next time you think it’s just a horse …

Who is interested in some Therapeutic Horsemanship Immersion classes? Monday nights 6:00 to 9:00 with the opportunity to have some immersion into the horse world with opportunities from everything from haltering, leading, riding, etc. This is a rain or shine event offering quality time and an Opportunity to work with more than one horse or try new things with the same horse as your confidence and knowledge base grows throughout the classes. Can attend single nights or purchase 4 nights and get a discount. Potentially there will be 10 slots available a night. OPEN RIDE and UGLY SWEATER competition this Saturday December 17th at 10:00. $25.00 Flat fee for the day. For time onlies, barrel race and other games we play that day.... and run as many barrel runs as you want.

FUN day at arena from 10:00 to 2:00. Time onlies from 10:00 to 11:00. Make as many runs as you want. Then a fun little friendly competition of barrels and a FEW other FUN GAMES. Family friendly and open to anyone. Come play and have some good old fashioned down to earth fun with your horse. Prize for Ugliest Sweater!

Please be patient with us! This last year, we have done so many updates that we think everyone will like!
We have updated almost ALL of our stalls!
We are currently getting a new parking lot put into the lower end of the corrals for nice graveled parking!
We have moved all the refrigeration units so the area is almost totally opened!
We are redoing our cow pens at the end of the arena so we will have stalls available for horses.
We are open for boarders!
We are hopeful that next spring we will have some sort of barrel series!
A LOT of things in the works! We realize a few people have messaged us! We are sorry for the late update, we have been very busy this year. We are hopeful next spring we will run some kind of event. We will be open for haul ins to use the arena soon.

We have redone most of our stalls, so we are opening up for boarding!
Our facility has:
🥕2 roundpens
🥕1 small outdoor arena
🥕1 large outdoor arena, with lights and great views all year round
🥕Trails down at Skyland Ranch Horseback Riding in Washington
🥕we don’t hate on disciplines! We welcome any discipline
🥕we feed alfalfa 2x a day, full care only.

🥕small pen is 5️⃣5️⃣0️⃣/month, large pen is 6️⃣5️⃣0️⃣ a month

‼️‼️the sky as of 11:00 today and air quality‼️‼️
We have been closely monitoring this the past few days and the highest it’s gotten is 98 in the morning(yesterday) and went all the way down to 68 by noon. We will post an update tonight and tomorrow.

We had such a great time at our first Cowboy 101 Clinic, we couldn’t wait to do it again!
