We received a pup update from Pepper/Martha.

I have the happiest dogs!! I purchased an 8 pack of balls… because we never have enough. These aren’t real soft but can be squeezed. I ordered the 2.5” so Sienna can play with them too. It’s also the size they have been playing with.
Oh… and bonus, they glow in the dark!!

Jovie is out of the bedroom, and with us now. It’s day 8 and she is happy to be with the other dogs.
We have a thundershirt on her, so Sienna doesn’t jump up and scratch her stitches.
She goes back to the vet on the 31st to get her stitches out.

The surgical suit was on in the picture but it is off now.

I wanted to share how lucky one of our puppies are.
Nolan/Teton from the wilderness litter flies from Seattle to Miami with his family for holiday every year. This is his second time getting to go along. He is much bigger this last trip.

We received a fun update from Raylan, and his family.
Raylan had a wonderful Christmas, he received a toy, and a heated blanket…. Which he loves!!
Raylan received a bandana from us, and wore it proudly!!
We are so thankful that Raylan is happy and healthy and living his best life, after he did have to have surgery for bloat. I believe it was a couple of years ago now.

I absolutely love the beach, and I’m betting Raylan does too.

Late last night Jovie finally started to drink, and she ate a little too.
It was such a relief I wasn’t worried about not eating, besides her getting sick from her medications. A couple meds say to take with food, she is taking four of them.
I really wanted her to drink, or she was going to go back to the vet. The vet called yesterday to check and see if she was drinking yet…. Thank goodness she is now!!

Jovie came through her surgery great. She has been home resting on our bed. She was spayed, and had a grape sized cyst removed on her back. The vet took extra tissue, so the incision is larger.

Jovie has no interest in eating, or drinking last night, or this morning. It breaks my heart for her.
I made her a little bit of peanut toast to get her to eat something last night, and take her medication. This morning she wants nothing to do with food or water. I feel so terrible for her.

My poor baby girl. I hope she feels better soon.

Surgery went well, and we are on our way home. We also had the vet remove a small cyst (the size of a grape) he wanted to remove around the area just to be safe. It’s a huge incision. 

Please say a little prayer today for our girl Jovie. She is being spayed this morning… and being up under always makes me worry.

Part 2 The puppies are doing so well. I walk in the room and they are very excited, but they don’t jump up on me. I go in and out of the puppy room a lot. I’m in there for training, to love on them and play, and to clean up. As soon as they poop… I go in and clean it off. I don’t want them to step on the poop and tack it all over the room.
