Wild Rivers Animal Rescue “Raising the Wooof” fund!

Winter is on its way and the rains have arrived. Please help us raise funds for our roof repairs!

Our animal Shelter building and our Thrift Store (that funds our shelter) both needed extensive roof repairs this year. So we are asking for your donations toward our repairs … no amount is too small and we’re very grateful for any help you can provide. It was a big expense but necessary to keep our furry friends warm and dry.

Since we are completely self funded and a community supported non-profit organization, any donation that you make to us is 100% tax-deductible.

Thank you in advance for any contribution that you can make to support our mission of rescuing abused, abandoned and neglected animals in Curry County. We couldn’t do it without you! 🐶🐱

Our good friends at Dogs of Del Norte Couty who work endless with their County animal control in Crescent City needs help. They are in desperate/critical need for fosters for small dogs (15 lbs and under). These would be a short term fostering commitment which may lead to adoption if you are interested. 🤞🤞 Below is the foster application link. Also message them if you have questions or would like to talk with someone about the fostering process. They provide the crate, food, etc. Fosters provide the 💗.

This stud muffin is Sargent Bronson! He is the goofiest dog here. This boy keeps us laughing with his class clown antics but let me tell you when it is time to do his commands he is all business. He works endless for treats. We think he is a Shepard, Great Dane, Miniature Horse mix. He is looking for someone who just wants one dog to love and has lots of kids and friends for him to meet. He adores people!! If you have alot of love to give this boy come in and meet this amazing boy. You won't be disappointed!!

We want to introduce Chloe! She is our new door greeter in the Cattery. This young girl loves everyone that walks through the door no matter who they are. As you see she likes dogs too! Chloe's personality is alot like a dog in that she likes to play fetch and she will come running when called. If you are looking for a fun and interactive cat you need to check this girl out!!

Introducing Bruno the Great!! This boy has a heart of gold and is the staff and volunteer favorite!! Bruno came to us through animal control so we didn't know alot about him except no one came to claim him. This boy did not have a loving family as all of his teeth, Yes ALL of his teeth have been filed down. This 65lb lovebug thinks he is a lap dog. He just wants to be cuddled and told how amazing he is all day ( which is easy to do) If you are looking for a side kick who has nothing but love to give please reach out to us. Let's get Bruno a great home!

Ranger officially passed his AKC Canine Good Citizen test last Sunday and we finalized his adoption yesterday!!!! We are so greatful for Karen, his amazing foster, who worked diligently with him. She went to training class and got him to pass his test along with promoting him in our community so he could find his forever family!

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL!!!! Diamond is waiting for an invite to a tailgate party! This 11lb chihuahua mix boy has had a rough life but he adores everyone he meets. He likes dogs, kids and cats. We think he is about 4 yrs old. He loves to just chill in the office while we do paperwork on his bed.
