My heart is bleeding for the people in Western North Carolina. As many of you know, we closed The Pasta Queen in December of last year to move and retire in Western North Carolina.

Our town, Hickory is safe (minus the tree damage and loss of power), it's our communities just west of us by 45 minutes that are washed away and many animals and people still missing.

These are the kindest, most welcoming, community oriented people I have ever met. They are a resilient and resourceful bunch.

Please join me in prayer for God's mercy and the aid of His leagues of angels as they begin rebuilding their lives. 😭
