Halloween is right around the corner, so here are some tips to keep your pet safe during all of the fun!

-Make sure any candy is kept secure and out of your pet's reach.

-If you're expecting trick or treaters, consider setting a candy bowl outside, or keep your pet's leashed, crated, or secure in another room with the door closed

-If you plan to dress your pet up in a costume, make sure they fit well and are comfortable, and aren't restrictive in any way

Happy Vet Tech Week to Megan! ✨ Megan has been working at our clinics since 2020, and if she could specialize in one thing in veterinary medicine, it would be ultrasonography. This can be an essential diagnostic that can help us diagnose and come up with treatment plans for our patients. Being able to visualize internal structures and organs is one of Megan's favorite aspects of the job!

Happy Vet Tech Week to Carly! ✨ Carly has been working at our clinics since 2014, and if she could specialize in any one thing in veterinary medicine, it would be dentistry! Carly chose this after seeing how much dental health can affect a patient's overall well-being. She loves hearing from our clients that they see their pet so much happier and their personalities shining after they have a dental cleaning, and Carly feels it is very rewarding to be part of that process!

Today Carly is celebrating ✨A FULL DECADE ✨working at our clinics!

Carly started here on October 1, 2014 as Veterinary Assistant, but started working as a Veterinary Technician in 2018. Her favorite part of working at Golden Valley and Greenbrier Animal Hospitals is her team. Over the years, she's seen a lot of staff come ang go, but feels there has always been a strong family dynamic! Carly feels that working with a loving and supportive team helps give her the ability to do her second favorite thing which is helping pets! We are so happy to have Carly as part of our team!
