It is with mixed emotions that I am announcing my retirement and closing Companion Animal Eye Center, Ltd. on May 19, 2022. Having owned this practice for 35 years, it is time for me to explore new adventures.
My staff and I want to express our sincere thank you for trusting us with your special family pet’s eye care and for your support through the many difficult months of COVID. We have updated your primary care veterinarian each and every time we saw your pet, so your veterinary clinic should have complete records. If we have photos of your pet's eyes, and you think they would be helpful in monitoring changes, please send a request to [email protected].
If you would like to make an appointment with us prior to May 19th, please call our office at 763-529-7591 or email us at [email protected]. If your pet is due for a recheck exam in June or July, you might want to schedule for May. Provided your pet is current on his/her recheck schedule, we can provide the appropriate amount of medication your pet will need until his/her next recommended follow-up exam (maximum of a one-year supply). Please let us know what and how many of each medication you would like refilled at least one week ahead of time so we can be sure to have it in stock.
We recognize your pet may be on long term or even lifelong medications. If your primary care veterinarian is comfortable prescribing these medications in the future, they can do that for your pet. If they are not comfortable, they can refer you to another ophthalmology practice for ongoing eye care.
If you have questions or concerns, please email or call us. We wish the absolute best for you and your pet. It has truly been my honor to work with you.
Warmest regards,
Connie Sillerud, DVM
