Hello everyone! I am making this page to begin advertising/selling my rope halters, leads, mecate reins, and loop reins!
I will have the options of stiff or soft rope halters. You can buy individual items (such as just a halter, lead, reins, etc) or you can purchase halter lead combos, or even matching halter, lead and reins!
I will be figuring out pricing, but I think for starters the basic halter and lead combos will be $60.
Tassles and poppers will be additional fees, since they involve more work and of course the popper is an addition item I have to purchase as well.
I am looking into getting a discreet sticker that will have my logo on it that will be on the cheek piece of the halter, but if for whatever reason you hate the idea of having one, just let me know and I won't add it :)
I can make the halter sizes based off generic sizing for your breed/size of horse or pony, or, you can message me and I will send you a photo of how to measure your horse, and I can do a custom fit one for your horse.
It also is an option to have the tail of the halter finished off with a knot, or finished off together like it is in the photos. If you're curious about pros and cons of that, message me and I am happy to explain 😊.
Below is photos of my second halter and lead. I used 1/4" double braid yacht rope which is the "soft" rope halter. And the lead ropes are 9/16" double braid yacht rope as well.
I will be lisiting the color and pattern options soon.
I still have some tools to buy before I can really start doing the poppers, but after I get that and feel confident in my rope splicing, I will officially make a post accepting orders.
