We do mellow stuff like sparklers and pop-it’s for the kiddos on the 4th and save the BIG stuff for New Year’s Eve when it’s not fire season! But this idea seems way better for the 4th of July when we’re not setting the big stuff off! 🥹❤️🎆🎇🇺🇸🦅🍾

I had to say goodbye tonight to my very best friend. I remember the day I went to go meet her 13 years ago. I went to see a different female in her litter but baby Maggie kept coming over to the puppy fence and put her little paws on my knees and wouldn’t leave me. She picked me. I will never have another dog as loyal as my sweet Maggie Mae. I never had to go to the bathroom alone, do sit-ups or stretches on the floor alone, go Black Friday shopping alone or eat my food alone. She was always there. She took a big part of my heart with her when she crossed that rainbow bridge tonight and what’s left of it is broken into pieces. Love them while you have them. You never know when their last day will be. I sure didn’t wake up this morning thinking this would even be a possibility tonight. She had the biggest heart and more love of any animal I’ve ever known. She was the best mom, grandma, auntie and great auntie and would take in any baby, ones that weren’t hers and babies of other species even! That big heart of gold just got tired of beating and started failing today after apparently suffering a heart attack a couple days ago (I had no idea! 😢😔) that left the entire right side of her heart twice the size it should’ve been and not working at all. Having a big heart was pretty fitting for a dog with such a heart of gold. ❤️💔
I will miss her every day for the rest of my life.

This is something everyone should see. This xray is of a 2 week old puppy.

When you get your 8/10 week old puppies, please keep this image in mind. Their bones do not even touch yet. They plod around so cutely with big floppy paws and wobbly movement because their joints are entirely made up of muscle, tendons, ligaments with skin covering. Nothing is fitting tightly together or has a true socket yet.

When you run them excessively or don't restrict their exercise to stop them from overdoing it during this period you don't give them a chance to grow properly. Every big jump or excited bouncing run causes impacts between the bones. In reasonable amounts this is not problematic and is the normal wear and tear that every animal will engage in.

But when you're letting puppy jump up and down off the lounge or bed, take them for long walks/hikes, you are damaging that forming joint. When you let the puppy scramble on tile with no traction you are damaging the joint.

You only get the chance to grow them once. A well built body is something that comes from excellent breeding and a great upbringing-BOTH, not just one.

Once grown - around 12-18 months depending on their breed, you will have the rest of their life to spend playing and engaging in higher impact exercise. So keep it calm while they're still little baby puppies and give the gift that can only be given once.

Update: I have been so surprised (and thankful!) for the response this post has generated from people interested in little miss Cutie Puppy. I received a few immediate inquiries within minutes of this being posted and I am following up on those initial contacts. I will be responding to everyone who has called, texted, messaged and emailed and I will move down the list in the order in which I received your inquiry if she continues to be available. As of right now she has a person coming to meet her tomorrow (Saturday). I want to do right by Cutie Puppy so that she will have the happiest life ever. ❤️
To answer a few questions numerous people have asked (and I apologize I didn’t have this info in my original post!) she is staying pretty small so she may stay toy sized or definitely a miniature. And her price is $950.
Thank you so much everybody for your interest in one of my precious puppies. ❤️

Ah! I am SO sad to have to do this. Our runt puppy (my daughter named “Cutie Puppy”) is now available, through no fault of her own. (She was a surprise present but timing was horrible for her new family and they couldn’t take her.) I got really attached to this one, as did my daughter so it will be tough to see her go!! She is the sweetest, funniest, most playful and cuddly, smart puppy. She stares you in the eyes trying to figure out what you’re saying to her. 😆❤️ She LOVES little kids and other doggos to play with. She is almost 9 weeks old now and ready to leave for her new home asap. We’ve been working on house training and crate training. She is the only puppy left and has been pretty lonely since brothers and sisters all left. Message or call me if you’re interested in taking Cutie Puppy home. ❤️💔 509-314-9697

Sadie’s babies are arriving!!!! 🐶 Blue Merle girl is the first out! She was breech and not in her bag. Had to gently pull her with the contractions to help mama out.
